Tommy Hilfiger presented his Fall 2016 Hilfiger Collection and the TommyXGigi collaborative capsule at the #TOMMYNOW runway show on Friday, September 9th in New York City. The experiential event was hosted at the “Tommy Pier” at the South Street Seaport, which was inspired by iconic harbor front fairs and featured fairground rides, carnival games, and an eclectic mix of vendors inspired by the world of TommyXGigi.
The show marked the global launch of the TommyXGigi capsule collection, designed in collaboration with international supermodel Gigi Hadid. Guests included Tommy’s wife, Dee Hilfiger, his daughters Elizabeth and Ally Hilfiger, international pop star and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, model Olivia Culpo, and DJ and entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman.
The show was opened by Hadid wearing a look from her capsule collection, and she was joined by a group of friends and family to support her including her mother Yolanda Hadid and her sibling Alana Hadid.
Seated front row were DJs Harley Viera-Newton and Chelsea Leyland; and models Kenya Kinski-Jones, Rachel Hilbert, Emily Didonato, Martha Hunt and Doutzen Kroes.
Additional international guests included influencer Miroslava Duma, Chinese actress Zhang Zilin, and Korean model Irene Kim.
