Who is your biggest supporter?
My parents!
How did you get started in the industry?
I started auditioning as a dancer and eventually began acting.
What was your first acting role?
In my first acting role I played Renata in the American Girl movie, “Isabella Dances into the spotlight.”
How do balance your personal life with your acting life?
I make sure to set aside time to hang out with my friends or have “me” time once in a while. It is a solid way to keep me sane.
What is the best and worst part of being an actor?
There are too many upsides to mention, but I would say that meeting new people and getting the opportunity to do crazy stuff is the best part. The “worst” part I wouldn’t even count as bad, but on the set of Project Mc2 we are not able to eat the cool food because it’s usually fake!
Best advice ever given?
I would say the best advice I have been told is to do whatever makes me happy. Life is too short to be doing things that you aren’t happy doing.
Name one your strengths?
A strength of mine is being able to find the positive in every situation. Life is hard sometimes and seeing the benefit in everything that comes your way is important whether it be a blessing or a lesson.
How did you find out about the Netflix’s Project Mc². And tell us about your character Bryden Bandweth?
I simply got an audition email from my agents about the project which at the time was under a different name. Bryden is an upbeat, tech-loving teen that shows her bright personality through her style. We all have a specialty within the S.T.E.A.M subjects and mine is technology. Bry is always up to date on the latest trends and the newest devices.
And now how is working on other very successful series like “The Thundermans”, “Jessie”, and “Extant”?
I am truly lucky to have gotten the opportunity to work on projects such as those and with the wonderful casts. My experience on each set was so different and I learned a lot from the people and the characters I played.
Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?
I really like Jennifer Lawrence because not only is she insanely talented, but she is not afraid to be herself no matter how awkward or weird she appears.
Name one beauty product you can’t live without?
I could not live without my Camille Rose Naturals Curl Maker Jelly. It tames any frizz and defines my curls so well!
What do you like to do when have some free time?
I really enjoy going to the beach with friends on my free time.
What is your favorite healthy food?
My favorite health food would be my homemade vegan cheese burger! It is packed with vegetables and then covered in melty vegan cheese with lettuce, tomato, and avocado.
And your favorite cheat food?
Apple pie with vanilla ice cream! Not much of a “cheat” food for me because I eat whatever I want, but it is for sure a fave that I shouldn’t have every day.
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
I hope that in 5 years I am still acting, but hopefully in films similar to Divergent and Hunger Games.
