Hi Victoria, please tell us little about you?
Working hard out here in Los Angeles. I’ve been a successful red carpet host for the past two years and I’m currently transitioning into acting as a full time career. I post fun photos and videos on my social channels giving viewers a peek into my Hollywood lifestyle and having so much fun doing it!
What’s your background?
My father’s side is German/Irish and my mother’s side is Dutch.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Bubbly, energetic, adventurous
How’s a typical day in your life?
Busy! No rest for someone in the world of social media. I wake up around 7, get a 45 minute work out in, check emails over coffee, and then usually spend the bulk of the afternoon preparing new social videos, writing scripts, doing photo shoots, etc. Around 3 it’s back to emails and then dinner around 5. After that I’m either enjoying a new movie or I’m getting glammed up for an event out here in Hollywood.
What are your fashion and beauty essentials?
I cannot live without my contour kit and Lilly Lashes! They’re just about the two things I always use.
How would you explain your fashion style?
During the day I’m totally decked out in LA streetwear style which is basically taking a casual outfit and giving it that California flair. I love it! At night I always glam my look up old Hollywood style with a fitted dress, bold lip, and statement shoe.
Now about the Social Media, when and how did your interest on Vine, Snapchat, Instagram, etc begin?
About 2 years ago. I met some Viners and thought they were hilarious. After that I was hooked! I’ve never been someone to just sit back and watch though, so I started making my own videos and photos and they took off!
What do you do to stay fit?
For me it’s all about what I eat. I still get a good work out in about 5 days a week and then try to stick to lean protein and steamed vegetables. My body really likes to hold on to carbs so I try to minimize my intake and when I do have them, limit it to sprouted grains, quinoa, or brown rice.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Right now I am obsessed with having a toasted piece of Ezekiel bread with smashed avocado and a sprinkle of goat cheese for breakfast. I literally go to bed excited for it every night! LOL
And your favorite cheat food?
Where do I begin? I love Mexican food, popcorn, and a good burger. On a cheat day you’ll probably find me at the Grove having the Umami truffle burger followed by a trip to the movies with popcorn. I’m definitely a fat kid at heart.
Who is your role model?
I really love Jennifer Lawrence. I think she is a great example of someone who worked hard for her career and she always keeps it classy.
What is your idea of a perfect Sunday?
Getting a good work out in, hanging out poolside with my girlfriends followed by a trip to the spa and then a group dinner with all my favorite people.
Favorite song? Why?
I’m still obsessed with Avicii’s ‘Wake me up’. When I first heard it I was in a place in life where I wasn’t doing what I was truly passionate about. Then when I heard that song, it sparked my motivation and got me to where I am today. I still listen to it and feel motivated to keep striving harder in my career.
If you were sent to a desert island, what three things would you take with you?
A hammock, a giant case of Chardonnay, and Spotify. You can get through a lot with great tunes and a dance party. And hammocks just seem like a great way to sleep under the stars.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?
Balmain and Valentino are my designers of choice right now. Some designers seem like they’re taking the Yeezy approach and keeping fashion bland and basic. Olivier Rousting has created some amazing pieces for Balmain that I am absolutely obsessed with. I’m loving Chrissy Teigan and Gigi Hadid. They’re insanely gorgeous and have amazing curves which has always been a body type that I love.
What is fun and rewarding about hosting events and being a social media personality?
I get to completely be myself. I think people are sometimes surprised by what I say and I love that. I can be silly and joke around with my guests and viewers and it just makes the work that much better when we’re all having fun.
What do you like to watch on tv?
Obsessed with The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. But aren’t we all? #DarylDixon4Life
Any future plans you want to share with us?
I’m currently making an exciting transition into acting full time. And I’m so excited about my upcoming projects!
Do you support any charity?
I’m supportive of almost anything for animal rescue or help for senior citizens. When I see a specific cause for a shelter or volunteer group that needs more people or funds those are the types I step in for.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Accepting my Oscar of course 😉 I hope that my hard work in acting will be proving itself and that I will have a platform to inspire and help others.
