Hi Jasmine, please tell us a little about you?
I grew up driving to middle school on a dirt road in a small town called Auburn NH. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be in show business.
I started doing pageants at te age of 6 and from there started modeling at the age of 15. As soon as I graduated highschool I moved to Los Angeles to pursure my modeling career. I came with nothing but a few suitcases.
I was discovered by my first manager on Melrose BLVD during my 2nd week in LA and shortly there after I had my first billboard for Fredricks of Hollywood. I started acting shortly after booking a role on Deal or No Deal as a briefcase babe. I have been fortunate to travel the world doing what I love most. Modeling and acting.
I spend my spare time helping the homeless and their pets in the LA area.
How did you get started in modeling?

One of my favorite TV roles was hosting a travel show, where we traveled the world doing high adventure activities. It was a dream job.
When did your interest in helping the homeless and their animals begin?
Being and actress and a model Im in my car driving to auditions all day. I would find myself constantly seeing homeless people and their pets. I started to fill up my truck with blankets, food, leashes, dog food..anything that they could use. I started spending a lot of time in shelter and trying to rescue dogs on death row.
I think Facebook also played a huge role in the animal rescuing as I was never aware of just how many dogs are being killed each day in the shelter before I started seeing it on FB. I try and hit the streets of LA 2 to 3 times a week to spend time with the homeless. Ive created many friendships along the way.
They may be homeless but that doesnt mean they arent kind and compassionate.
Where did the idea of creating your own charity for the homeless and their pets come from?
Being in the entertainent industry I knew I could use my platform to bring awareness. Helping the homeless and their animals have become such a huge passion of mine. I knew that I needed to start a charity in hopes that others would want to help along the way and make a difference.
Creating this charity wasnt just about giving a homeless person 5$ and walking away. It was about spending time with these people, making them feel alive and loved again. Most of the people I have helped over the past 6 years I still talk to and see from time to time. If more people would simply take the time to just say hello to a homeless person on the street they’d realize that they to are people.
