Independent, gracious, handsome, and adventurous are all ways that Nashville born Wyatt Nash could be described.
As a star on the rise, Wyatt can next be seen starring as ‘Ryan’ in The Hallmark Channel’s adaptation of the bestselling Karen Kingsbury novel “The Bridge.”
Wyatt was most recently seen in the breakout role of ‘Christopher’ in the Lifetime Original Movie “Petals on the Wind”, and been a recurring guest star on ABC Family’s smash hit series “Pretty Little Liars” opposite Keegan Allen and Tyler Blackburn. Wyatt is an outdoorsman, and loves camping, hiking, climbing, and anything involving adventure. When not out in nature, he enjoys reading.

Hi Waytt, please tell us a little about you?
Born and raised in Nashville. Discovered my love for the arts later on in my life, and now I find myself in LA living the dream.
How everything started?
My professional career started with country music videos while I was in college. I wanted a little extra money to pay rent so I started auditioning for those and various modeling roles. After booking a few and realizing how much I enjoyed being on set, I made the decision I was going to pursue acting once I graduated.
Did you go to acting school?
No, I graduated with my degree in biology and now… here I am. haha.
How do you prepare for a role?
Normally, I first try to find what what I have in common with a given character. Usually finding those similarities allows me to have a more truthful approach.
Tell us about your character Ryan Kelly and about the series “The Bridge”?
Ryan is kind young man who has two passions. First…he cares deeply for the people in his life. Secondly…music. The Bridge follows Ryan as a freshman in college trying to decide which direction he should take. It is there he develops a relationship with Molly and together they both begin to plan their paths into the future. Much of their time is spent at bookstore called The Bridge that is filled with great people who are focused on community.
What other projects you have been involved in?
I’ve been on a few different TV shows such as Dr. Ken, Pretty Little Liars, and Rake. I also starred in the V.C. Andrews adaptation of Petals on the Wind.
Where do you see yourself in a few years?
If I’m being honest, which I like to think I am, I have no idea. I love what I do and would love to continue on this path.
How did you stay fit?
I have a varied approach. I spend some time in the gym, but I love to run, hike, and swim. I also enjoy doing crossfit and olympic lifting, as well as boxing or Krav Maga to keep things interesting.
What advice would you give to those who want to be in this business?
Surround yourself with good people. Be patient, work hard, and engage in various arts i.e. photography, painting, writing, or music to keep things fresh.
How’s your typical day?
In this industry I don’t believe there is such a thing as a typical day. However, I usually try to exercise everyday, have some quiet time, do something for acting (audition, read a script or play, watch a TV show or movie), collaborate on other creative projects with friend. There is normally one or two coffees mixed in there as well.
Best advice ever given?
My manager always says “Work in a way that no one can fault you.” It reminds me to be prepared, do a great job, and treat everyone with kindness and respect.
What music do you have in your iPod?
I’m always switching it up. Right now: David Ramirez, Ben Howard, Liz Vice, Turnpike Troubadours, Typhoon… the list goes on!
What are guilty pleasures food wise?
Pizza, Oreos, peanut butter, cheeseburgers…I’m guilty more often than not!
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
I would love to spend a month hiking, camping, and exploring all of New Zealand with my girlfriend and few of our other friends.
What are your other hobbies?
I love photography! It is something I’m very passionate about. I also love to camp and hike and other outdoor activities, and that fits nicely with my photography obsession. In case you didn’t notice, I kind of like the outdoors…
What do you like to watch on TV?
I really enjoy Louie and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I also like a lot of the Netflix originals like Dare Devil and Bloodline.
Do you support any charities?
I support Compassion International, UNICEF, and the Red Cross. I’m also working on a project for the kids at Children’s Hospital LA.
How important is Social Media for you?
I enjoy Instagram because…photography. It is a great way for people to share their passions. However, I do try to make sure it doesn’t distract me from everything else in my life.
Do you have any future plans you want to share with us?
Again, I love what I do and I want to continue growing and learning in this business.
