Hi Mara please tell us a little about you?
I am Colombian model from Medellin. I studied journalism in school, while I was modeling as a full time career.
How did you get started in Modeling?
I was in my school when the owner of a modeling agency invited me to be part of the Agency.
Anything funny that happened during a casting?
It is not funny! But I want to share with you, that while I was in the Maxim photoshooting I broke my feet!.

What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion signifies being beautiful and confortable.
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
Brigitte Bardot.
What are your goals as a model?
I would like to inspiring by continuing being a fitness model, and showing how you can live a healthy life through fitness.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?
Kate Moss, Elle McPherson and Chanel because it is the symbol of elegance.
How did you stay fit?
Boxing, barre classes, yoga, weights and biking.
How do you feel about the controversy of the size 0 in the industry?
I think that if you have a healthy lifestyle, you don’t need to do extreme dieting 2 weeks before the shotting of the fashion show.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling?
Traveling and meeting people of different culture.

That there is always someone that is going to critizies you
What other modeling projects have you done?
Covers, catalogues and fashion shows.
Name one beauty product you can’t live without?
Sunscreen, and drinking water all day.
What’s your advice for the newer models?
Discipline and find the balance in life.
What are guilty pleasures food wise?
Chocolate.

Coconut oil for skin and hair.
