Oh you know just your 5’3 South American girl trying to not get elbowed in the chin when I go dancing.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Catalyst, Passionate, Goofy
Who is your biggest supporter?
My Mother
How did you get started in the industry?
I found a magazine ad for acting classes, and called them up!
What was your first acting role?
Haha, I was my father’s co-host on his Home Shopping Show, that started at the age of 4 years old.
What is the best and worst part of being an actress?
Best: Getting to Act
Worst: Getting through the hoops, whether it’s the people around you, or not being picked.
Best advice ever given?
If you aren’t happy it will show
Tell us about your latest indie film Deux Face?
Super Rad, it made it into Toronto International Fashion Film Festival, so that was cool!
How and when did you start into modeling?
Mom putting me in social magazines.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
I don’t think the modeling is as rewarding as the fashion, and being part of a larger idea. I don’t really see a downside, things are changing and it’s awesome.
Now tell us about your fashion blog?
I love it, I’ve been feeling very inspired lately. I’m thankful for the momentum.
How often do you post content?
About twice a week, I get hung up on grammar, haha. But more importantly, finding the brands and outfits that I feel need to be put out there can make it take a little longer.
How challenging is to compete and get viewers with so many other fashion blogs out there?
Consistency is everything like anything and finding your voice. I’m a firm believer that there is room.
What other projects you have been part of?
I have a script that I’m hoping to launch a kick starter campaign for. It’s very exciting! It’s a bit dark, but awesome.
Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?
Salma Hayek and Johnny Depp, it’s always changing. They are bold and take on interesting characters. Boldness is important to me.
3 things you can’t leave your house without?
Cell phone, keys, wallet. I repeat that every time I’m about to leave actually!
What music do you like?
Whatever is influencing people to be nice to one another, whether it’s Bob Marley or some deep house, even classic rock. I like that music in public spaces because it really opens people up to start chatting.
Your idea of a perfect Sunday is?
Outside of my house, and near a body of water, even if it’s just a pool.
What is your favorite healthy food?
I love fruits: mango, pineapple, and coconut. Healthy clean fish as well.
And your favorite cheat food?
I have a weak spot for noodles.
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
Happy and living the life that I’ve been working on.
Do you support any charities?
I love the Surf Rider Foundation, I’m currently looking to charities that help keep our air clean. I am always seeing if there is something that I can do in Southern California to help.
