Eccentric, Creative and Adventurous.
What’s your background?
I grew up as an only child to my amazing parents, Randy & Carol, who are attorneys in Los Angeles. I figure skated as an amateur for the United States from 1991 – 2001 and then turned to be a professional figure skater touring the world with Disney On Ice & Holiday On Ice until 2008.
When did you start into fashion?
I fell into fashion by accident while touring as professional figure skater. I was on tour in France and I was invited to Paris Fashion Week where I got the fashion bug.
When and why did you created “Tumbler & Tipsy”?
I was working at the fashion brand Libertine as an assistant to the designer and decided after his NYFW 2009 presentation that I needed to go off on my own, achieve the credit I deserved & with that, the Tumbler and Tipsy brand was created on the plane ride home from that New York Fashion Week trip. I have always wanted to express my own designs and with my fashion degree from FIDM, it felt natural to go out on my own.
