She has appeared in several national commercials, including Frito Lay, General Motors, and Disney. Her television and film credits include episodes on Dreamworks TV (OMG), Investigation Discovery Channel’s Blood Relatives, and the feature film Internet Famous. She has also appeared in various web series episodes, short films, and music videos. In 2016, she starred in and co-wrote an award winning short film that has been an official selection of many film festivals. She was recently nominated for A Young Entertainer Award for “Best Young Actress in a Short Film.”
Samantha’s musical interests include rock, musical theatre, and pop. The first cover she recorded in the studio was Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, in which she performed all of the vocal parts. In addition, she sings part-time as a solo performer and with a band at various events around LA.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”25293″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Hi Samantha, please tell us a little about you?
I am a soon-to-be 15 year old actress, singer, and model, originally from North Carolina.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Perfectionist, kind-hearted, happy.
What is your musical background?
I have always like singing for as long as I can remember. I started taking vocal lessons about 3 years ago and also took piano for 2 years.
How would you describe your music?
I mostly do cover songs at the moment. I’m a huge fan of classic rock.
How did you get started?
I started with acting when I performed in a production of Annie Jr at the age of 8. I was hooked!
What is your next goal as a musician?
I’m in the process of recording some songs for an EP.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”25292″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Which other artists would you like to collaborate in the future with?
As I mentioned earlier, I am a huge fan of classic rock. I think my dream collab would be Steve Perry (singer of the band Journey) or Eddie Van Halen (guitarist).
And now about your acting role on the “OMG!” series? And about your lead role as Lilly Franks?
“OMG!” was so much fun! I was given the opportunity to play a few different characters on the series. In one episode I was star-struck over this boy who was in a boy band, in another I was a very studious girl who was upset that my lab partner wasn’t as focused as I was.

What other projects you have been part of?
I co-wrote a short film with a friend of mine that played at many film festivals in the country.
3 things you can’t leave your house without?
My phone, a water bottle, and did I mention my phone….haha!
Your favorite song? Why?
So many to choose from. At the moment it is Separate Ways by Journey. I just love their music.
Any loves, other then music and acting?
I do enjoy modeling when I get the opportunity. I’m also a bit of a science nerd…I am fascinated with astronomy and seismology.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Freddie Mercury. He was an amazing singer and performer.
Best advice ever given?
To just be myself.
Five years from now you will be…?
I’ll be in college, while continuing to act and sing.
Your idea of a perfect Sunday is?
Relax at the beach, or going out with friends.
How’s a normal day in your life?
It’s pretty hectic. I start with homework, then auditions and/or music lessons depending on the day.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Mostly fruits – especially grapes and strawberries.
And your favorite cheat food?
Pizza
Do you support any charities?
Rosie G and the Grace Rose Foundation is important to me.
What do you like to watch on tv?
Comedies and more comedies.

What do you think of Social Media?
It’s a very helpful tool that allows me to connect with so many people around the world. It does have its downside though. Unfortunately there are people who use it for the wrong reasons. I manage all of my social media myself, but my parents monitor it for safety.
