Sure! If you read my blog or follow me on Instagram, you can see that I love luxury fashion:) I live for a good look and great photo opp. I grew up outside of San Francisco in a small town called Atherton and in high-school I was an accomplished horseback rider. I traveled the country competing, and remember thinking I was going to become a professional rider and had hoped to compete in the Olympics. However, as I got older my affinity towards fashion quickly became my #1 love.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Creative.
Loving.
Determined.
Name one your strengths?
I am very perceptive. I’m lucky enough to meet a lot of people in my line of work and I always try to use my intuition to make decisions about my future.
How’s a typical day in your life?
My day usually starts with a workout and then is filled with working on upcoming projects. Each project takes a ton of planning, which consists of creating mood-boards for new content, answering emails and making phone calls. I also travel a lot, so I spend a good amount of time in the air. In between it all, I make time for family and friends.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My mom! I know it’s cliche, but she 100% understands my goals and is always there cheering me on. I’m very grateful for her love + support.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Feeling content, reaching a goal, and impacting someone’s life in a positive way. I feel most happy when the people around me are happy and everyone has positive energy.
How did you get started in the fashion industry?
It started by offering fashion advice to a few friends and it blossomed into me fully styling them. Around the same time, I started blogging and posting my outfits online. The reception was amazing and before you knew my side project had become my career.
What is the best and worst part of being a fashion stylist and a luxury fashion influencer?
The best parts are wearing fabulous designer clothes, traveling to beautiful destinations and meeting amazing people! The worst part is definitely the delayed flights…
How do you balance your personal life with your working life?
My personal life has kinda become my work life, but I love what I do, so I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Best advice ever given?
Be kind. Love fiercely.
Which project is still on your bucket list?
I want to continue to build my brand relationships and find amazing ways to collaborate with top luxury fashion houses like Cartier, Dior, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and more.
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
I love Michelle Phan’s videos.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?
My favorite model is Romee Strijd. She’s absolutely stunning and seems to have a fun and loving personality from the vlogs I see on her YouTube channel. I also love Lorena Rae!
My favorite designers are the ones who create wearable art like Karl Lagerfeld, Tom Ford, Donatella Versace, Christian Louboutin, Anthony Vaccarello, Raf Simons, Riccardo Tisci, and Olivier Rousteing.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I’m a style chameleon and dress my mood. On some days I’m feeling very girly and will have a princess outfit on, and the next day I’ll feel edgier and step out in a full leather look.
What is next for Jaime Xie in 2019?
Lots of traveling! I just got back from a project in Cuba and I’m leaving next for haute couture week in Paris then to Las Vegas for a Chinese New Year event I’m hosting. From there I head to New York, Milan, and back to Paris for fashion week. I’ll take a little break in San Francisco and then I’m off to Palm Springs, Cancun, Italy, and Greece.

I would love to meet Blake Lively! I love her style and she also seems like a fun person to hang out with.

I’ve never had soda in my life.
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
Being over 10 minutes late or having bad hygiene.
What is the stupidest thing you’ve ever done?
When I was a child, I had my mind set on driving a golf cart, so one day I hopped onto my mother’s lap and pressed the gas as hard as I could and it went flying. My mom tried to shift her foot to break but couldn’t move it because I was sitting on her legs. Everything happened so quickly and the next thing you knew we were crashing through a row of bushes and hit the curb. The golf cart tipped over and we all fell out- thankfully no one was seriously injured.

These days TV has been replaced with Netflix. I’ve been watching Dynasty and I’m loving it!

I eat healthy 99% of the time so my list is pretty long! I try to eat a raw, organic, and plant-based diet whenever possible, but I admit that it can be hard at times since I travel so much. I always make sure to have healthy snacks from Moon Juice or Sakara with me.
And your favorite cheat food?
Anything with chocolate!
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I hope to be jet setting around the world working with all my favorite luxury brands on big projects and being recognized as a top influencer in the fashion industry. Do you support any charities?
My family supports several charities and recently I got involved with The Art of Elysium. An organization that pairs volunteer artists with communities in Los Angeles to support individuals in the midst of difficult life challenges like illness, hospitalization, and displacement.
