I’m a young actress born and raised in London, England.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Excited, determined and Hopeful.
Name one your strengths?
My ability to stay motivated.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My mum has waited in coffee shops during countless auditions and been there during long hours on set with me so I couldn’t have done it without her. The rest of my family and friends have been so supportive as well.
How did you get started in the industry?
I attended many different courses and lessons from a young age and then I got signed to a wonderful agent who got me my first jobs.
What was your first acting role?
Does an elf in a Christmas school play count?
What is the best and worst part of being an actress?
The best part is the variety of different projects out there and the excitement of finding out when you get to be a part of one of them. The worst part is the inability to plan things and to fall in love with a project and see someone else get the part.
Best advice ever given?
To let the downs sink in for a while and to feel the hurt before getting back up again.
How do you prepare for a role?
I break down my script, and try to perform it in different ways. I see how the events relate to the world and my experiences and what I would do in my characters shoes.
What kind of roles do you like or would like to play and why?
I’d love to play a character that is a suspect in some sort of murder mystery. I’d also love to play a character with magic in JK Rowling’s Wizarding World.
Now tell us about your work in the new British series ‘Moriarty?’
I’ve been cast as the character of Simpson, who’s one of the Baker Street Kids and so helps out Holmes from time to time.

I play the lead character in two upcoming horrors and I’ve also been involved with a range of other projects including theatre and voice-over work.
Now tell us about the offer you got to be a member of the prestigious National Youth Theatre of Great Britain? That’s amazing Congrats!!
I found out that I was offered a place when I was in LA recently and I was so excited! So many amazing actors have been a part of the National Youth Theatre and their training and productions are world class!
What is next for Ella Greenwood in 2019?
I’ve got some more projects lined up and I’ll be training with NYT. I’ve had a lot of really great auditions recently so I’m hoping to hear back from one of them! I’m also eager to get back to LA as soon as I can.
Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?
I adore Lily James. I’ve followed her career for years and I’ve been lucky to see her perform in the West End twice as well as meet her and she’s such a wonderful person. She’s extremely talented and chooses lots of different and incredible projects to be involved with.
What music do you like?
Anything! I’ve loved Taylor Swift for years and other favourites include The Lumineers, Bastille, Stromae, Kacey Musgraves and Luke Combs.

Living in the present and enjoying the situation and company without any worries.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I have a very small family and so it would be cool to meet any of my really distant relatives.
What do you like to watch on Tv?
I just binge-watched The Society on Netflix and it was so good. Now I’m working my way through Call My Agent and The Walking Dead. I could watch episodes of Parks and Rec and Modern Family on repeat.
