Interview with talented Actress, Model & Host Katherine Kristine Nunez.
Katherine started her career as model and transitioned into acting and hosting “The Day Off Show” on Iheartradio as well as “The Party & Bullshit Show” with @JackThriller. Now she is the leading actress in some of tour favorite Indie Films set to come out later this year. She has done all this while being a mother of 2 boys.
You can expect to see more of Katherine very soon in some of her latest projects and films which are Checklist The Play, Trapped, Pocket Full Of Game, Ruthless, My Sisters Keeper, Better Than My Last and Deviant in Blue based on a true story.

Hi Katherine, please tell us a little about yourself?
Hi my name is Katherine but everyone calls me Kathy or Kat.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Ambitious, Seductive, Loyal.
Where did you grow up?
Weehawken, NJ.
How’s a typical day in your life?
A typical day in my life. Wake up make sure kids are straight and get to the bag. Im a hussler at heart so Im always figuring out ways to excel in my career.
How did you get in the industry?
I started off doing some modeling and music videos and later transitioned into hosting podcasts and radio shows to now acting in movies.
What part of your job do you find the most challenging?
Well the fact that people think because I’m a woman, that I have to act or be a certain way. When in reality, I’m a boss, I do what I want!
Tell us about your work in Hotel Guests?
Lol wow! You did your research. Hotel Guests was my First project that I ever worked on and it was filmed and directed by Pendulum Hill Films. It’s a indie film about a bank robbery gone wrong and I play a character named Checker. It made it to a few festivals!
And about your role as Kathy Red?
Kathy Red is my loving alter ego. Lol Kathy Red is a sexy, mischievous woman and she takes no nonsense from anyone. I mainly used Kathy Red during my modeling and video vixen days.
What other projects you have been part?
My first official role ever was Maria on Checklist The Play directed by The Burgos Brothers, Then I am the lead actress in Trapped with Jermel Howard, I also play Ruby on My Sister’s Keeper by Industry Unlocked Films, Coco on Ruthless by LockCity Films,Porsha on Pocket Full Of Game by Dejavufilms, and lastly but not least RedBottoms on Better Than My Last on LockCity Films.
Now tell us about hosting “The Day Off Show” on Iheartradio as well as “The Party & Bullshit Show” with @JackThriller?
Hosting the Day Off Show and The Party And Bullshit Show were both very amazing learning experiences. As I was going through my transition from Model To Actress, the opportunity to host those two shows were amazing! I learned so much and met a plethora of people!
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far?
I have learned that life is a continuous lesson. And I have grown to take it all in.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Being able to live and do what I love is happiness.
Which project is still on your bucket list?
I wanna work with Jlo & Quentin Tarantino.

More movies, more magazines, more more more of Katherine Nunez.
What do you think makes a women beautiful and why?
A woman is beautiful in the way she carries herself. She must be classy and well respected but can still have a little ratchet side. It’s called well balanced beautiful woman lol.
How would you explain your fashion style?
I like to switch up! So one day I’m all glammed up, one day I’m sexy, one day im sporty, and some days sweats and teeshirt will do! I dress according to the occasion.
Something people don’t know about you?
Something people don’t know about me? Hmm well most people don’t know that I can be a bit insecure about my body sometimes. I wish I had bigger boobs or ass sometimes lol but I also know that looks aren’t everything and you must have the intellectual mindset to go with all that beauty. Beauty comes from within. I have dated all sorts of men. Rich, hood, nerdy, regular men, and the one thing they all say they loved about me when I asked them, is me. They all loved me because who I am as a person is way more valuable than any tits and ass. And that’s facts!
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I see myself winning an Emmy and/or Academy award. I see myself giving back to people especially third world countries. And maybe starting a charity or a foundation of my own to help single moms who want to get into the entertainment industry.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
My dream holiday would be Italy or Greece and of course I wanna go with ALL my loved ones!
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I wanna meet Beyonce! I think you know why!! She is the best to ever do it! True definition of what a woman and mother is supposed to be. And as far as someone who is dead I would like to meet my grandma again and hold her and hug her again. She was my hero and still is. She bought all her 9 kids to america by herself from the domincan republic and became a US citizen, all while not knowing one word of english. That’s pretty bad ass! And all my aunts and uncles are super happy and successful in their own right here in america! The land of the free! And That’s the kind of role model I had growing up. It’s really a priceless childhood.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Not much of a healthy eater but as of late I have been addicted to Acai bowls I love them!!!
And your favorite cheat food?
Burger king, McDonalds, which ever is closer at the moment. Lol
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
I’m super picky so anything can turn me off. If you wanna court me, so it right. Be creative, be a gentleman and always pay for the dates! That is important!
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Shopping at Neiman’s of course!!!
What do you like to watch on Tv?
I binge watch anything on Netflix! But right now I’m watching Locked Up. It’s a Spanish Drama Series.
Do you support any charities?
Kagera Advancement Inc. Their current mission is to improve education in the Kagera region of Tanzania which is one of 30 administrative regions in Tanzania. They have started with focusing on Katare Secondary School in Katare village which is on the outskirts of the Kagera region’s capital city, Bukoba. Building a physics laboratory, implementing a centralized school library, and providing textbooks for every student are just a few of our recent undertakings with the school. Katare village is also home to Katare Health Clinic where we are making great headway by improving building infrastructure and supplying electricity. Please join us to continue our efforts with each of these endeavors and take things even further!
What do you think of Social Media?
Social media is great! But I hate the bullying that it comes with. I don’t like overexposure of any kind so I used it for business purposes for the most part and also for some fun memories.
