Hi Sky, please tell us a little about you?
Hi, I’m so excited to chat with you guys! I’m Sky, I’m 11 years old, I love acting and voicing characters. I sing a lot, maybe too much sometimes and I like to have fun!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Brave, Determined and Happy
Who is your biggest supporter?
It is so hard to pick one person that is my biggest supporter because everyone in my family supports me and I also couldn’t do what I do without my acting team. I just feel really supported by everyone.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Well, things that make me happy are: my dog, riding rollercoasters, card games and movie nights!
Now about your acting career, what was your first acting role?
My very first acting role was a Burger King commercial when I was five. I got to slide down a slide into fake snow. The only part that aired was the side of my arm.
What is the best and worst part of being an actress?
The best part of being an actress is getting to work on amazing projects and then getting to see the project on TV. There really isn’t a bad part about acting. I love the whole process!
Tell us about your work on the film “Klaus”?
In the Oscar Nominated movie Klaus I play the role of Ellingboe Girl 2. The film is so beautiful and I really loved seeing it on the big screen.
When I filmed “Klaus” the director, Mr. Sergio Pablos, was via satellite from Spain.
I thought it was pretty awesome because it was my first experience being directed via satellite. I loved that we got to sing some songs in Klaus because I’m a singer and singing as an animated character is really fun.
What other projects you have been part of?
I’ve voiced a lot of characters, I voiced Cassie Lang on Marvel’s Ant Man shorts on Disney XD. I voiced Deema in Season 5 of Bubble Guppies in a special called “A Royal Mess” and a couple other episodes. I have also done many other voice over commercials and movies. I have a brand new show out on Netflix called Emily’s Wonder Lab and it’s all about science. It just started airing last week. I got to do some amazing things like dance on a pool of Oobleck and we made a huge explosion of horse toothpaste. I also have a movie coming out really soon called Let Us In.
What music do you like?
I really like pop music and I usually have a song stuck in my head that I sing over and over. I also love Christmas music and anything Christmas related year round. I am also a big Parry Gripp fan and he actually did the soundtrack for my new show and that was super cool for me!
Your favorite song? Why?
Oh gosh, that’s really hard because it changes so often.
Any loves other than acting?
Besides acting? I really like to build legos and make arts and crafts. I have a garden with all kinds of vegetables and I spend a lot of time making Origami.
What is your favorite food?
I absolutely love soup, to be exact chicken noodle soup, and the more crackers… the better!
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would absolutely love to meet Moriah Elizabeth. She has the most fun show and I love seeing how creative her videos are.
What do you like to watch on tv?
Some of the shows I like to watch are Craftopia, any Christmas movie, I’m loving The Babysitter’s Club and My Perfect Landing.
Best advice ever given?
Everything changes so enjoy it while it lasts.
Five years from now you will be…?
I will have visited Japan, I really want to go! I’ll be in high school, WOW!
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
My idea if a perfect Sunday is to go on a really long bike ride, eat lots of ice cream, have a slumber party with my best friend, make slime and do crafts.
