Hi Amalia, Raena, and Gabriella, please tell us a little about you?
Hi, I’m Amalia and I’m 16 years old. I’m Raena, I’m 14 years old, and I’m Gabriella and I’m 11 years old and we’re Triple Charm. We’re all three sisters and we just released our new single and music video “Rally Up!”
Describe yourself in 3 words?
I would say we’re positive, fierce and fun [Gabriella]
We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?
Well, we all three grew up performing as competitive dancers. Amalia started singing when she was around six and working in professional theater at the age of nine. She is actually the one who inspired Gabriella and I to start singing about 2 years ago and that’s how Triple Charm got started! [Raena]
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Pop, motivational, and danceable
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
Music has always been a huge part of our lives and when we started singing we knew we wanted to create music that could inspire others. Some of the people we’ve been inspired by are Lady Gaga, Meghan Trainor, Demi Lovato and Katy Perry.
Do you play any instrument?
I play the piano and Raena and Gabriella are in the process of learning it as well. [Amalia]
Tell us about your new single “Rally Up?”
Our new single “Rally Up,” is an anthem all about female empowerment! We wanted to create a song that would bring girls together and make them feel unstoppable. It’s super upbeat, has a lot of K-pop influence, and makes you feel like you can conquer the world.
What’s the story behind the song?
Starting out in this industry, we very quickly realized that nobody’s gonna make our dreams a reality for us, we have to be the ones to do that. So the concept for “Rally Up” stemmed from the feeling that we aren’t going to stop trying until we reach our goals. Through this song we wanted to communicate to girls all around the world that they have the power to be unstoppable and reach any goal they want to achieve.
What is the next goal for the Triple Charm sisters?
We have a ton of different goals for Triple Charm, one of them being to go on tour. We actually were supposed to go on a tour earlier this year, however, it got postponed due to covid. We are hoping that it will resume sometime early next year so we can perform our music on stage again.
What is fun and rewarding about what you do? And what’s not?
There are so many amazing things that come out of what we do. For example, the love and support from our followers. It has been amazing to be able to talk to and really build a connection with so many people. There are so many rewarding things about doing what we do that it’s hard to really think of any negatives about it. Getting to do what we love with the people we love is pretty amazing.
What are the five things you can’t live without?
We couldn’t live without fruit, Netflix, voice memos, a tripod and each other.
Whats next for Triple Charm in the last months of 2020?
We are going to be posting a ton of content on our social media all through 2020, doing some virtual performances, continuing to write more music, and hopefully filming a new music video for our next single.
Any loves other than music?
Besides singing and dancing, we all three actually love to act. We also enjoy going to the beach and hanging out with all our family.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I think we honestly would all three love to meet J.Lo. She is a singer, dancer and actress just like us and I feel like she has so much knowledge about this industry it would be amazing to talk to her. [Amalia]
Best advice ever given?
The best advice we were ever given is to live in the moment and enjoy every step of the way.
What is your favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
Our favorite song to jam out to in the car right now would probably be “Sue Me” by Sabrina Carpenter.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Our definition of happiness is being with the people we love, doing what we love and making others happy.
Do you support any charities?
We all three have many charities and organizations that we support and would love to work with. One specifically is the Girls Opportunity Alliance. They work to bring education to young girls and women all around the world, and we love what they stand for.
What is your favorite food?
We all three love almost any kind of fruit especially raspberries, strawberries and blueberries.
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
We see ourselves doing many things! Some of which would include, going on a world wide tour, releasing more music and hopefully having our own T.V. show.
How would you describe your fashion style?
We would describe our style as streetwear with a fun and edgy pop. We love to use lots of color and accessories. We also coordinate each outfit so we look cohesive and always finish off each look with some fun shoes!
