Ella Nice emerged onto the scene as a DJ when she got her first gig at California’s own club Tonic. Giving her a unique opportunity to develop her style by infusing house with hip-hop to captivate multiple audiences. Since her debut, Ella has added numerous events to her resume; EDC Camp Grounds After Hours, DJing Floyd Mayweather’s parties and playing her first international show in Jamaica.
Ella’s production style came full circle with a remix of “GangGang” by Jackboyz. She continues to shine light on the production side of her brand aiming to launch her solo project come 2021.

Hi Ella, please tell us about you?
I am 25 years old. Live in LA and New York. Been djing for 5 years and just within the last year have been producing.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Outgoing, passionate, loyal.
Name one your strengths?
Ambitious.
How’s a typical day in your life?
Depends!! I’m back and fourth from LA to NYC so my daily schedule ranges from working out to walking on the Brooklyn bridge. Djing is a must or something to do with music. Except Sunday’s are my relaxation days for friends , family, god.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My best friend Si.
How did you get started in the industry?
I’ve been in this industry for now 4 1/2 / 5 years.
What are currently your main challenges as a DJ and Producer?
Working in a male orientated industry and being hit on a lot when I’m just trying to vibe and work.
Tell us about the success of your remix of “GangGang” by Jackboyz?
JACKBOYS was my first ever song I remixed and it is such a hit I got so many streams, likes and good feedback so I’m very blessed and happy with the outcome of it.
Which artists and styles inspired and influenced you?
James hype is definitely my favorite Dj and Who really inspires me as far as djing.
When all the partying is over how do you like to chill out?
After I’m done partying I literally love to have a relaxing Sunday, order post mates and chill. Watch movies hang out with my dog.

Paradise challenge, Jamaica x black tape project
Describe your sound in 3 words?
hype, groovy, and a vibe
Can you tell us any differences between other places in the world and the US music scenes?
Yes I traveled through Europe and the music was a different vibe, I was able to play my playlist at this club and they didn’t hear the Box by Roddy rich, Which was the number 1 song in the world so it was cool seeing them go crazy to my music.
Are you doing any live music during this lockdown? If yes where we can listen?

Got to DJ at Pasquale Rotella’s owner of EDC campsite.
What advice would you give to aspiring Producers or DJs?
Never give up and always put in the work!! Don’t expect it to come easy
What is next for DJ Ella Nice in the last months of 2020?
I’m putting out a lot of music that I have been working on and will have a new mix for y’all.
Best and worst thing of your job?
Just vibing out to your music with everyone else, seeing the happiness it brings to everyone. Song request lol

How important is Social Media for you?
Honestly not that important to me, I always forget to post and tag. But I’m working on getting better at it or might just have to hire someone to do this for me lol
What is your own definition of happiness?
Feeling loved and blessed and knowing you are on the right path
Your idea of a perfect Sunday is?
Relaxing with friends and family djing by the pool with a marg
What do you like to watch on Tv?
I honestly don’t really watch tv
What is your favorite healthy food?
I love purple carrot all vegan food delivery service
And your favorite cheat food?
That’s hard! I don’t eat meet so I’d say In n Out (grilled cheese add pickles & animal style fries) or montys plant based fire burger spot
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
Balling owning my own business and just thriving living my best life
