If there’s one thing that 2020 has taught us, staying in is the new going out! Regardless of what’s happening outside, there are plenty of great ways for you to spend time with the people closest to you from the confines of your own home.
Spending nights in with friends can take on all kinds of forms. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, and if you don’t feel like watching the same old movies or playing the same old games, you don’t have to.
What’s most important is that you find ways to enjoy each other’s company. Grab yourself some Pacific Ale, kick back, and have a few laughs. Here are some creative ideas for hanging out with friends you might want to try.
Up the competition
Yes, there are plenty of party games you can play with friends, but why not introduce a bit of healthy competition? Competitive game nights can be a lot of fun, and if your group of friends thrives in these circumstances, there are lots of board and party games you can use to compete.
You could even set up leagues and tournaments – the choice is yours.
Spa evenings
Why not host a spa at home? Get a group of people together, choose a few bath or beauty products, and take time to unwind. You could encourage guests to bring their own recommended products with them.
This could be an enjoyable way for you to unwind with friends without having to pay the prices you’d typically expect at a local spa or parlor location!
Go stargazing
Okay, this is not so much something you can do inside, but if you have a clear enough sky above your backyard at night, why not invest in some star charts and a telescope for some star gazing? Invite friends over to take a look at the constellations and star clusters. There are some fascinating sights to see up there.
So many of us spend time watching TV or looking at our phones that we forget to look at the vast and incredible universe above us – stock up on books, charts, and everything you need to watch the skies.
Have a tasting evening
As previously mentioned, you could make a point of bringing in the ale, the rum, and other ingredients to create your own cocktails. Why not make an evening of making your own cocktails and unique drinks?
You could even have a wine tasting evening or spend time tasting a few foreign delicacies. Sharing opinions on food and drink can be a lot of fun, and again, there are no reasons why you should have to spend a lot of money to do it!
As you can see, you can get really creative with spending evenings at home. Why not make a date with your friends and loved ones to head on over to your place?
