Hi Alessia, please tell us a little about you?
My name is Alessia Vernazza. I’m an Up and Coming Actress from London, United Kingdom. I moved to Los Angeles at 16 to pursue my dreams.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Loyal, Passionate and Loving
Who is your role model?
My role model would have to be my parents. They’ve sacrificed so much for me and they’re showed me what family is all about.
What is the best and worst part of being an Actress?
The best part would have to be getting to meet new people and taking on different and challenging roles.
The worst part, well there is no worst part.
How and when did you start Acting?
I started Acting when I was super young. I joined a small acting group when I was around 7 called “Little Voices”. My parents wanted me to meet new people and get out of my shell as I was super shy and now the rest is history ????
Do you ever get nervous?
Yes I do and I enjoy getting nervous because it shows that I care. Everyone gets nerves.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
Hard work is key in anything. If you don’t put in enough work with something then the result won’t turn out the way you want it too so stay concentrated.
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
When on set you have to stay super professional. Not speaking loudly and distracting your other cast members.
What’s your advice for the newer Actors?
Be dedicated, dedicating time to your craft is so important. Stay disciplined, don’t get distracted by things that aren’t relevant and lastly stay curious. Never stop being curious about the world and the work and how they inhabit each other.
How do you prepare for a role?
Learn your lines! Backwards and forwards. Know them like you know your address. Learn them unattached to emotions. Do it as soon as possible. Do it so your rehearsal time is more effective and explores deeper territory. That’s a start.
What projects you have been part of?
At the age of eleven, Alessia was cast as one of the Ensemble in Tim Minchin’s Adaptation of “Matilda” in London’s West End. She has also recently appeared in “The 3rd Guest” (2020), “Bernie Problems” (2020), and “JiMBO” by KrisMarshall (2020) as well as a Chris Brown Music Video plus many more.
