We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?
I started modeling in Iowa, than moved on to acting and singing as I spent time in LA

Contemporary Country
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
Carrie Underwood influenced me and I wanted to be creative and use my voice so music came naturally.
Do you play any instrument?
Yes, guitar
Do you ever get nervous?
Yes, mostly with big auditions in front of producers, singing live is nerve racking too!
Tell us about your new single “Don’t Bring Him Down?”
It’s a country song about a toxic relationship that a boy I like is in
What’s the story behind the songs?
I like songs about the emotions involved in relationships
Did you had plans/concerts planned and cancelled because of COVID? If so have you done any online concerts or interaction with your fans?
Soon! I am going to start some online concerts on my IG @shaesmolik
Now tell us about your work in “Play By Play” and your role as Gracie Hickey?
I am the little sister of a family full of sports minded parents. I am spunky and competitive much like my real life!
Which project is still on your bucket list?
Making a movie with Steven Spielberg. I would also love to be in the upcoming Avatar movies.
What is fun and rewarding about what you do? And what’s not?
I love acting and being on set. It’s tough because of the ups and downs of an actors life with auditioning, etc/
What’s next for Shae Smolik in 2021?
Releasing more music with new music videos. I will continue to do auditions. Hopefully get a pilot I was recently in picked up and start filming.
What is you favorite song? And why?
God’s Country by Blake Shelton. I just love the lyrics and makes me feel blessed.
Any loves other than music?
Of course acting, volleyball, track, jet skiing, swimming
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Carrie Underwood because she is a powerful female and my inspiration!

Keep your circle small!
How’s a typical day in your life?
School then sports like volleyball or track, then auditions, homework, singing and guitar lessons.
Name one your strengths?
I am very driven.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Hanging out with my family and friends at the lake boating and jet skiing.

Yes. Make a Wish and St. Jude’s Hospital

Blueberries

Fettuccine Alfredo or Ice Cream
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
I want to keep pursuing my dreams of acting and singing but also I want to get a college education hopefully at UCLA.

Casually Trendy
What do you think of Social Media?
It’s a double edged sword. It can be great for marketing and engaging fans but can also be full of hate and that is terrible.
