Hi August, please tell us a little about you?
Hi! Im a model/ influencer and Fitness coach as well as a Mom. I’m half Filipino and half Czecklavakian. Born and raised in California.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Vivacious, Versatile and Fun-Loving
Name one your strengths?
Perseverance.
How and when did you start into modeling/influencer and as a fitness coach?
I started modeling/ influencing 4 years ago because I love inspiring others through creative expression and helping promote brands I enjoy myself. I became a Fitness Coach 1 year ago Because my passion has always been health & fitness. Its so rewarding to help people reach their fitness goals!
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
I love being able to do creative projects that inspire others through a positive self image. Sometimes it can get stressful if you don’t give yourself enough down time to recuperate between shoots.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
I learned that life is not about how you win, it’s how you lose. Your reactions to unfavorable situations that you face, shape who you are as a person and ultimately determine your destiny. You have to get up, brush yourself off and keep moving forward… Life is full of challenges, you have to use them to your advantage. One door closes and another door opens. Always trust the process and enjoy the Journey 🙂
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
Most important thing to me is a good night’s sleep the night before. It can make or break my day. I need at least 6-8 hours of restful sleep at night or else I’m a cranky girl.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far in this business?
Always trust your instincts! If you feel you are doing something that goes against your beliefs then you should reassess your decision. Always stay true to who you are.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
Best book I would recommend is “How to win friends and Influence People”
What’s next for August Taylor in 2021?
I am launching my new fitness site limitlessfitness.co in September 2021 which will have all my workout programs, my meal plans and provide people with all the tools to get into the best shape and have fun doing it 🙂
Can you share some fitness tips with our readers?
Avoid refined sugar. Get your daily Cardio, Drink 8 glasses of water a day and lift weights at least 3 days a week.
What’s your favorite form of Cardio? And how often you workout?
Running uphill or on high incline is most effective for me. Or stairs. I get bored easily so I like to mix it up. I work out 5-7 days a week. All Depends on my schedule, I’ll take a day or two off if I’m on vacation or If I have a long shoot.
You are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of doing always the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
I love the feeling of making a difference in the world even if its a small one I take it very seriously… I love being able to reach so many people with my message and make a positive impact. It feels good to give people positive encouragement and inspire 🙂
What is your own definition of happiness?
Happiness to me means you truly are content and you’re living in the moment. Not in the future or in the past. You’re content in the present. You have an overwhelming sense of being in the right place and you love what you’re doing.
How would you explain your fashion style and what items in your closet can you not be without?
Sporty Spice meets Posh Spice. I love wearing my elegant dresses, high heels and jewelry that makes a statement. On the daily you can find me in my workout attire with tennis shoes. Cute and comfortable and always able to do squats if needed. If i’m leaving the house I can’t leave without my Chanel boy bag.
