Diving right into the deep end, Jesus Luz’s first performance in Brazil in 2009 was for a 75k person audience at Cará Music Festival. Not one to do things in half measures, his debut was followed by a performance at mega club Green Valley, which was voted as Brazil’s best club. Receiving invitations to play at prestigious fashion events, he has performed in New York, London, Paris and Milan, for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Thomas Sabo and Valentino. Crafting a sure-fire formula, frequent collaborators Vitor Bueno and Jesus’ recent collaboration ‘Habla Compadre’ has amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify, pushing his name further into the world of dance music. His latest release ‘Calling’ is out now and we caught up with him to chat about his new track, the Brazilian electronic scene and his effortless ability to combine the worlds of music and fashion –
