Hi Claudia, please tell us a little about you?
I am a woman who wears many hats that is because of my ambition. I used to be a celebrity stylist. Now I am The top trauma psychologist and life coach and an acclaimed TV personality. I am an actress in sag AFTRA movies and have been been in panels for mental health advocacy. This year may private practice will launch breakthrough with claudia.com and I can’t wait to share more with you about my show on LATV.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
I am ambitious Intelligent and kind.
How did you get started into the business?
I have two separate carriers and two very distinct lives. For psychology It started when I went to undergrad at University of California Santa Barbara and for grad school I went to Argosy University for my PhD. As for my career in television I started off as a celebrity stylist and started networking with producers and eventually started doing red carpets And guest appearances.
How has this changed your life?
I have grown to become a more bold person. I now love challenges and have become fearless. Whatever scares me I do it because that means growth. I don’t believe in limits I believe in obstacles I can overcome. I have seen all my dreams become reality and that is truly special.
What is the best and worst part of being a psychologist and a TV personality?
The worst part of being a psychologist is when you feel you have let somebody down because you are giving a service to somebody and at least my goal is to make sure I am giving the best of me every day. The worst part of being a TV personality is that you You are giving up your private life. I am OK with that now because I love both of my jobs. And every job comes with a pro and con.
Now tell us about the new LATV and Travel Channel projects! Congrats!
Well I just finished a documentary produced by Eli Roth called a ghost read my new life which was totally amazing and I got so much DM‘s and emails after that show that I knew I had to reach out to someone because there were so many people who relate it to my story and that is how this new show on LA TV came about. I hope in the future to work with the Travel Channel again I can totally see it happening.
What projects you have been part of?
I have done a lot of reality TV and movies my favorite has been horror. I have also been doing lots of panels and podcasts. I am truly excited however about my next venture into doing my own show that will be mixing my two favorite subjects which is horror and psychology.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Being able to help people and being able to see people and hear people across a larger platform.
What’s your advice for the newer actresses?
My advice to the actresses would be to be patient your dream project is coming I had to wait five years and the floodgates opened and all of my dream projects just came to life but throughout those five years I was working I was an intern And I was going to school.
Tell us about the launch of your new clothing brand?
I am doing a capsule collection with a Mexican brand called Bean. They are a new brand they remind me of Zara and Pull and Bear So I’m really excited for that.
What inspired you for the collection?
My inspiration came from Wednesday Addams little black dress and the and the Marie Antoinette era So you can expect lots of Intricate collars , Victorian era style Blouses and dresses some floral and some muted colors also a very dark theme , I will call it beautiful goth or twilight jk.
Favorite look from your collection and why?
My favorite look is that all rhinestone bolero that has a big bow in the front you can wear it with something under or nothing under I think that is going to sell out pretty fast I’m very excited for that piece I’m really sad that it won’t be here for new year.
What comes to mind when you think of the next collection?
I’m really into dark things and themes. So when I think of a collection I really think of Christian Dior or Alexander Wang. I really love the Victorian era and dark colors and muted florals.
How would you compare your brand to other global brands?
I really love chrome hearts and GCDS and Selkie.
What would you say a color that resonates with you the most and why?
I love the color red because it’s fiery passionate and it reminds me of love and all those things resemble and describe me.

What did you learn from your biggest failure?
To get up and try again. To get rid of guilt and shame because they are just social constructs and to be fearless when pursuing what I want.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far in this business?
The greatest lessons I have learned so far in business is to maintain relationships keep your word have a great work ethic don’t be afraid of failure get used to rejection get out of your comfort zone be fearless
How would your best friend describe you?
My best friends would describe me as funny goofy loud sometimes crazy loyal kind and very loving.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
I Holden Caulfield from catcher in the rye he’s not a likable character I know a lot of people think he’s whiny throughout the book. But every time I read that book I cried because I hate the loss of innocence and he does too. He wants to save his sister from growing into a phony adults. Holden is a cynic and a realist. For a long time lessons taught me cannot be naïve or have my car down all the time. I love that book very much one thing I did learn is that it’s impossible to keep that childhood innocence intact. You have to grow up and see Or what it is accept it and keep your joy.

What is your favorite healthy food?
My favorite healthy food is Hamachi Crudo.
And your favorite cheat food?
My favorite cheat food is not actually your food it’s a drink I drink so much soda it’s so bad.
What is your own definition of happiness?
My definition of happiness is inner peace. Inner peace brings me joy and it is priceless. I have learned to let go of people material things and control of what life may bring I value spirituality and inner peace and I don’t allow anyone to take that away from me.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
If I could meet someone living or dead it would be Nicholas Tesla. To me he was the smartest man alive and he has inspired me to continue living out my dreams even when others have doubted me. He makes me believe that anything is possible. If this man could see electricity and hold it in his hand before anyone could even fathom what electricity even was I can do anything.

Networking is your best friend

My favorite song is this your song by Elton John its so poetic and romantic, they don’t make songs like that anymore
What do you think of Social Media?
I think it is practical when it is used right. However there are many research journals and science based articles that have proven the addicting effects and the pathological effects it can have when it is abused. I hope that we can reach a point where we learn how to use it properly.
