Shaquita graduated from Troy State University and American Intercontinental University. She owns her own media production company called “Noonie Studio Productions” and she also is a producer at “Loud Films”. Shaquita Smith has appeared on Tyler Perry’s “If Loving You is Wrong”, All Eyes on Me, Fatal Attraction, Snapped and many other film projects. She has landed lead roles in numerous theatre productions such as Eleemosynary, A Lesson Before Dying, The Insanity of Mary Girard, She Walked Out and God walked In and many others.

Hi Shaquita, please tell us a little about you?
I am a southern belle with full of life and energy! Hahahaha. I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama. I have been acting since i was in 6th grade in a play called “Arkansaw Bear”. I truly love what I do and cant see myself doing anything else!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Determined, Passionate and Driven
What is the best and worst part of being an actress?
The best part of being an actress is the ability to be express myself fully and to share my truth to the world.
The worst part of being an actress is the pressure of wanting to be perfect. But the beauty of it is…nothing is perfect.
How do you prepare for a role?
I prepare with just reading the material without being bias or as a “Actor”. I start asking myself “what does the character want” and how can I get there.
Tell us about your work on “NCIS New Orleans?”
Working alongside Scott Backula was a dream come true! Portraying Sara Larrabee was a great role to portray and also portraying a strong woman as well.
What other projects you have been part of?
Amazon “Gravesend” directed and written by WIlliam Demeo.
What kind of roles do you like or would like to play and why?
I would like to be an action star! I love portraying bad-ass roles! Similar to Angelina Jolie in Tomb raider or Charize Theron in The Old Guard. Im working my whole body off to prepare for those types of roles.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
I am able to travel, meet amazing people and do what I always dreamed of doing.
What’s your advice for the newer actors?
Stay being yourself, No one can be yourself like you being you, TRAIN HARD and stay focused.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far in this business?
The biggest lesson that I learn is that you got to know who you are and stand firm on that. As a woman, sometimes you can get trampled on and you got to stand up for yourself.
How would your best friend describe you?
They would describe me as funny, charismatic, loving, goal oriented and determined.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
The art of not giving a F*K! Best book ever!
What’s next for Shaquita Smith in 2022?
Currently Shaquita will be filming a couple of shows “Christmas with my girls”, “Broken Scales” and starring in her own feature “Alabama Girl”.
What is your favorite healthy food?
My favorite food is SALMON! I cook salmon with different variety of recipes.
And your favorite cheat food?
My favorite cheat food is Pizza hut cheese pizza…my guilty pleasure
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Angelina Jolie because to me she is iconic, her acting is
Do you support any charity?
I support KidsSave and Boys and Girls Club
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
I see myself accomplishing being a series regular on a show that has had 3-4 seasons. I also see myself having a couple of more kick-ass roles under my belt and a flourishing production company.
