Hi Priscilla, please tell us a little about you?
My name is Priscilla Ricart. I am 27 years old and I’m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I have been modeling for over than 14 years and I love what I do. I have traveled around both Asia and Europe for modeling but I have been living in Miami the past 8 years. I currently work between here, Los Angeles, and New York. I am always on a plane! When I’m not working you can find me at the gym, at the beach, or at home with my dogs. I love spending quality time with my family and friends, enjoying nature, watching a good tv show, cooking, learning different languages, and researching and learning more about astrology and spirituality.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
I called my parents to help me with this question!
They said that I am light, I am strong and I am kind. No better way to describe myself than from the eyes of my family ❤️
Who is your role model?
My family! They are my biggest inspiration.
How and when did you start modeling?
I started modeling as a kid but I signed my first modeling contract when I was 13 years old.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
I get to meet so many incredible and inspiring people.
And what is not so rewarding is the distance from home when you model internationally.
Can you name a few of the brands you are working with or have worked with?
I have worked with so many incredible brands! Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Saks, Nivea, House of CB, OhPolly, Windsor… and so many more!
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
To always be the best version of myself.
What’s your advice for the newer models and influencers?
Take the first step, go for it. Have discipline to go after what you want and always believe in yourself!
How did you get started into the social media business?
I had a normal account where I would post what I was doing as a diary and I started to see how social media became a huge opportunity for so many people. I took the opportunity to show more about my work and since then I’ve created an incredible audience that support and cheer on my work.
What mindsets helped making you so successful and popular?
To never give up on my dreams and to be ready when the opportunity comes!
I love what I do and when I am working I give my absolute best!
When you started your Social Media accounts, did you expect such a success?
Not at all… I remember when I had 10k I couldn’t believe there were so many people interested in my day to day. And now with 660k I still can’t believe it…
Tell us about your experience working with such a popular world-wide agency like Select Model Management?
They are like a family to me!
I’ve worked with so many different people and I can genuinely say I have the best team taking care of my career.
They are always booking me and more than that… they care about the models and that is something you don’t see a lot in modeling agencies. I love my Select fam.
As a popular model and influencer you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of doing always the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
I love being seen as an example of modeling and it makes me so proud of myself.
I love to encourage people to achieve their dreams because I love to help people any way I can. Having so many people that I can somehow inspire or at least bring some kind of happiness to their day makes me so happy!
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
She always knew this but I would say it again… keep dreaming and never stop believing… trust the process because in the end everything that’s meant to happen will happen exactly how it needs to be.
How would you explain your fashion style and what items in your closet can you not be without?
I am really eclectic. I dress depending on my mood but I love a romantic style.
Some of the items I cannot live without are definitely a flowy dress, a comfy sweater set and a cute cropped top with jeans.
What is the most challenging thing you deal with about consistently staying in top shape?
Making time for it. Sometimes my schedule can be really crazy but having a healthy lifestyle is a choice and a way of living so I choose this lifestyle. Working out and eating healthy is not only about staying in top shape but more important about how it makes me feel about myself. Mind, body, and spirit.
Favorite form of cardio?
I love spinning class and walks by the beach.
What’s next for Priscilla Ricart in 2022?
I see a world full of incredible opportunities and I am sure a lot of good news will be coming my way soon!
What is your favorite healthy food?
Fruits are my favorite! It increases my mood, they are so full of nutrients and so tasty!
And your favorite cheat food?
Dulce de Leche
What is your own definition of happiness?
Being in nature and with the people I love.
What is your idea of a perfect Sunday?
Being outside and enjoying the beautiful world we live in!
Best advice ever given?
My dad always said that the opportunity comes with preparation. Always be ready for the opportunity.
Do you support any charity?
Yes, I am involved with the Little Light House Foundation.
Name 3 things you can’t live without?
My family, the beach and the sun.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
I see myself really happy and thriving in my career… achieving all of my dreams.
