Hi Peach! Please tell us a little about yourself?
Hey there! I’m Peach Martine. I’m 19 years old and I’m a singer and songwriter who lives in Miami Beach, Floria.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Energetic, friendly, and hopeful.
How did you get started in the music business?
I’ve been singing, playing instruments, and writing songs since I was a very little kid. Music has been my lifelong love.
How has this changed your life?
My whole world revolves around music. I’m a total workaholic and I feel my purpose is to entertain people.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Theatrical, Vulnerable, Strong
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
I’m the only musician in my family, but I was exposed to great music as a child. As a kid I used to listen to classic rock CDs and practically absorb them.
Tell us about your new single “Romeo and Juliet?”
Romeo and Juliet is my next single off of my upcoming album. It’s a love song that pours out all the positive emotions of a fresh relationship. It’s chaotic and flirty and sappy and sexy and full of promises and affection. It’s very personal to me.
What’s the story behind the song?
When I wrote “Romeo and Juliet,” I had just fallen head over heels in love. I think that fresh kind of love seeps out of this song. The lyrics fell out onto the page as soon as I sat down.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Meeting my fans in person and getting to entertain them live!!! It’s incredible to get to hug them, thank them and get to know them.
What would you say are the greatest lessons you learned so far?
Definitely brushing off any negativity. I think I’ve always been good at believing and backing myself, but trusting that I’m the best person and artist I can be keeps me shielded from any negative responses online.
Now tell us about the huge TikTok success and what are you doing to keep it going and growing even more?
It’s absolutely insane! I’m so lucky that I get to share the songs I write with over a million people! I post daily, and everything I write gets posted so I can see if my fans like it!
What do you think is the secret to having a successful TikTok account?
Definitely posting a few times a day everyday and finding a niche.
When you started your account, did you expect such a success?
Actually, kind of! There hasn’t really been a social media platform thus far besides TikTok that’s so focused around music. TikTok is such a wonderful tool for artists to find new fans and vice versa. Music blows up from TikTok these days! I had TikTok for a few months before deciding to post on it, and after a few successful videos I decided to really commit to it.
As a popular influencer you are followed by so many young people. How do you feel about that pressure of always doing the right thing, and encouraging people to follow their dreams?
I really think that’s part of my purpose in life. I’m very grateful to be looked up to by my younger listeners and I’m very proud to say that I do my best to set a great example for them.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
Everything happens for a reason. Every part you didn’t get, every door that closed, every opportunity that went nowhere is all leading you to where you’re supposed to be.
How would your best friend describe you?
Workaholic, funny, and a ball of energy.
If you were a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
Maybe something like “Getting There” and it could be about my journey so far in music!
What’s next for Peach Martine in 2022?
I’m finishing an album that I hope to get out by Fall 2022!!!!
What is your favorite healthy food?
I love guacamole.
And your favorite cheat food?
Gotta be dark chocolate!
How would you explain your fashion style?
Glam rock. All sorts of colors and textures. Heavily influenced by Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Elton John, Nikki Sixx, etc.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Small moments of pure joy that get you through everything else.
What would be the dream vacation and who would you go with?
If I had unlimited money to spend on it, I’d take my friends and my boyfriend to sail around Italy on a yacht!
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Probably Freddie Mercury. I’m a huge fan and have so many questions to ask him.
Best advice you’ve ever been given?
Everything happens for a reason.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
Hopefully on a sold out stadium world tour with some Grammys on my shelf!

Currently “I Can See for Miles” by The Who. It’s just so well written and I’m seeing them in concert this month!
