Hi Sofie, please tell us a little about you?
My name is Sofie SanFilippo, I’m 18 years old from Chicago IL. I love inspiring others through my social media & singing. I’ve been a competitive dancer and singer all my life and love to make others happy with what I do.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
funny, loud, creative
Who is your role model?
I love Alissa Violet. Alissa definitely inspired me to start YouTube
How did you get started into the business?
When I was younger I did competitive dance and cheer and loved making dance content and videos. I later auditioned for America’s Got Talent and participated in the auditions, got into singing and started YouTube and TikTok. I’d say what keeps me going and motivated the most is that I love what I do and being creative.
How has this changed your life?
I’m very blessed as I’ve gotten to experience so many events and amazing opportunities that others don’t get too. I’ve also made so many friends I’m very close with and built great relationships and people skills.
Tell us about your work as a content creator?
The content I make is more younger audience based, I love making “POVS” or acting videos where I get to create characters and plots. I also love doing “Types of” videos where I dress up as types of people at school or types of people at sleepovers …etc. I make about 2-3 videos everyday and have a consistent posting schedule.
Where or when did you found the love for this?
During quarantine I started taking social media more seriously and began making videos in the time I had. I love coming up with new ideas as I’m a very creative person. It’s also amazing the community I’ve built with my followers/supporters.
Now let’s talk about being a Social Media Influencer. Can you share a few tips for new influencers or content creators?
The biggest thing is definitely being consistent and having a daily posting schedule. Coming up with new ideas to keep your audience engaged, and most importantly having fun with what you do!
What do you think is the secret to have a successful site/social media channels?
Enjoying what you do and having passion. You definitely have to have a positive excited mindset and really enjoy and post what you want. Keep being consistent and you will attract the right people and community.
What mindsets helped making you so successful?
Every time I need to get in a motivated mood I always write down my new ideas and brainstorm. It definitely makes me excited to see my new videos/ideas come to life.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
“you talk to much” – I think I would have my book named this because I definitely am a loud and energetic person, the book would be about funny story times I have or I would call it The Life of Sofie and have it as a journal type written book.
Now tell us about the huge YouTube success and what are you doing to keep it going and growing even more?
I really enjoy building a community, every time I post i love interacting with my supporters and answering their questions, overall it’s so amazing enjoying what I do. I love coming up with new ideas and I have a lot planned coming in the future.
What do you think is the secret to have a successful YouTube channel?
I would say making engaging content such as answering questions, doing challenges or vlogging. Anything that interacts with your audience.
As a popular content creator and influencer you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of doing always the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
I try to be the best role model I can and inspire others in everything I do. I love answering questions my supporters have and always inspire them to follow their dreams and work hard as well.
What is different from your channel to other ones in YouTube?
I feel like my videos really express my personality which a lot or people might not do in their videos. I’m also very interactive with my followers and try to come up with original content.
How often do you release new content?
Everyday I post on TikTok and Instagram and YouTube twice a week.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far?
Definitely to be consistent with everything, and to be yourself being yourself will always attract the right crowd meant for you.
Any advice to entrepreneurs out there?
Make a plan and a have goals, it’s always a good idea to brainstorm as well.

I recommend lily singhs book “how to be a bawse”
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Seeing the community I’ve built and interacting with my supporters it makes me so happy that others can enjoy my videos.
What is your favorite healthy food?
I love blueberries and smoothies

i love vegan brownies / lollipops
How would you explain your fashion style?
I think my style is a little bit of everything it’s definitely a good mix of girly / edgy and y2k.
How would your best friend describe you?
funny, talkative and energetic
What’s next for Sofie SanFilippo in 2022?
Lots of traveling, events, growing my platforms, singing, music, meet and greets and new content on the way so excited.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Doing something that makes you excited.
How is a normal day in your life?
I definitely have a routine, i love breakfast so I always get up and make a smoothie, after I start filming my new content, planning out my day, responding to emails and workout.
What is your idea of a perfect Sunday?
Definitely getting outside and doing something with my family. taking it easy and relaxed and getting ready for the week ahead.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I’d love to meet Juice Wrld. he inspires me so much and definitely is one of my biggest inspiration when it comes to music.
Best advice ever given?
Be yourself, never change for anyone else.

Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
Definitely singing and having my first album and music video out. I’m Living in LA for sure and still creating content and behind the scenes of recording music, and events. I’ve made so many amazing relationships and I’m very blessed to be able to do what I do.
