Hi Olga, please tell us a little about you?
Hey, I’m Olga De Mar, I’m a model inside out and upside down. I love my job from deep of the heart and my mind. I was born in Latvia, dreamed to live in Italy, so here we go, dreams come true. Unpredictable as always in search to experience new things.

How and when did you start into modeling?
I started on a beauty contest, then a sport competition, then I was discover by a model agent at 14 in Latvia.
But my modeling career started in 2012. My mom did not let me model before I finish my studies.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
There is a lot positive things about my work, like traveling, meeting talented people, be part of the creative projects and learn new languages. But sometimes it’s hard to resist the lack of sleep and connections, such as friendship, relationships and family. Then also you are not having a home, because I’m always traveling around the wold for work and just sometimes, come back, change the bag and move again.
But as a human, we get used to everything, so even the sad part, become fun, if you are a positive person.
Can you name a few of the brands you are working or have worked with?
They do not pay me for publicity hahah. Just Google my name 🙂
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
That it will be not the last one, so no worry. Just learn to not repeat it.
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
I think the most important thing when shooting is to relax and some time it’s also your work to relax people around you.
What’s your advice for the newer models and influencers?
I advice to believe in your self, learn a lot about the market and work in general, and always move around. when you do something, don’t stop.
How did you get started into the social media business?
I am using my social media platforms mostly to promote my image, to make the world know about my existence and my work capacity, so its a perfect connection for my work.
What mindsets helped making you so successful and popular?
My mindset is that I’m still don’t feel that I am successful and popular, so I never stop my self from improving. And then I just love what I am doing, if i could not make living with modeling, I will still do that on my free time from other job.
When you started your Social Media accounts, did you expected such a success?
I was not thinking of success, neither I do today. It comes naturally, when you do things, results come.
Did your business and projects got affected by the Covid-19 pandemic?
From my point of view, was the opposite, because after Covid, there was less competition, because clients start to be more careful with choosing the right girl. So in my case, the quality of character helped me to be more requested.
But from the point of traveling and all the restrictions, of course. Instead of working everyday, you need to make test the day before a flight, then you work, then test again to fly somewhere else. So in one month you make less. But nowadays everything is coming back to normal.
As a popular model and influencer you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of doing always the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
I do not know what is the right thing, as I’m also not sure anyone else do, so in case they try to judge my behavior, it doesn’t offends me.
About following their dream, I can just confirm that if you work hard, lots of dreams become easier to be realized.
Now talking about Instagram, can you share some tips for keeping your account interesting?
Depends for whom you wanna be interesting, if you know your target then follow their request.
I am trying to separate profile from stories, where on profile you can see various work jobs I have done, and then on stories you can see me as the person and about my private life. I have nothing to hide, I am enjoying being me, so feels like its also good for people around.

What mindsets helped making you so successful?
Curiosity opened new things, flexible mindset and behavior. Wanna see more, learn more, have more.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
This is not a failure if you look at it as a lesson presented to you, if what you did did not suit you, just do it differently.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
Unpredictable.
That’s how I experience my self. Thats how I see what the book can be about. You never know.
Any advice to entrepreneurs out there?
No advice is the best advice.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
I have no idea.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
Talk more, express yourself and your feelings, because people doesn’t read minds.

Do you support any charities?
I do, but if it’s me involved into that.
I have a dream to go with a charitable organization to clean the oceans, I have a diver’s license and thus not only give money to charity, but also my time and effort to educate myself and show others how important it is
How would your best friend describe you?
More often I hear about myself that I’m crazy, but I feel its the good crazy vibes that I give them when they are around me.
What’s next for Olga De Mar in 2022?
An incredible amount of new experiences, acquaintances, places, I rarely repeat myself in behavior, so every year is special in its own way
What is your favorite healthy food?
Tomato’s. I can eat tomato salad, with tomato soup, drink tomato juice and languid ice cream for dessert
And your favorite cheat food?
Wine
What is your own definition of happiness?
Freedom and peace of mind
How is a normal day in your life?
Wake up, shower, skin and hair care, take a suitcase, run to the airport and fly to work, entertain myself and friends on social networks. After work, back to the airport and fly to another job. I live on suitcases and I like to spend most of my life alone.
What is your idea of a perfect Sunday?
No matter what day of the week, I manage to make time for family, friends and people close to me. This is the most perfect Sunday lets say. But basically, most of the Sunday or days off I just get enough sleep, I can sleep 24 hours only with a break for food.
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
I am very tolerant of any manifestation of human character, and therefore I will not leave a date even if it is already clear to me that a second date does not going to happen. But then, only if a person does not show aggression and disrespect for me or surrounding as that concerns physical violence.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Departed (dead) loved ones, I would like to say a lot of things and talk about so much.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
I would like to travel with my beloved person, because in him/her I see both friend and relative. And therefore the emotions from the journey are incredibly strong.
Dream holiday At this time, is to get to the Burning Man festival, climb Everest, and go on an expedition to the Antarctica.
Best advice ever given?
Don’t worry, don’t rush!

Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
Oh dear, I have no idea where I will be tomorrow, because life is unpredictable as my soul.
Favorite song? Why?
The one that my mother composed and wrote, giving me a birthday present, and then she played the guitar and sang the song looking to my eyes. This is an incredibly strong emotion that words cannot describe.
What music do you like?
I like silence

I am incredibly glad that we have such an opportunity, but as always, everything depends on the person, how to use this tool.
