How did you get started in modeling?
My beginnings in modeling was about 8 years ago when I started working in some fairs as a protocol model, I worked in different fairs such as colombiatex, expofitnes, colombiamoda, feria de las 2 ruedas, etc., I also started working as a photography model, they were all wonderful experiences.
Something funny that happened during a casting?
Might be fun or not, but once in a casting for a Vive100 commercial, we had to dramatize what we wanted together with other 3 models, it was more than fun, since we played with our imagination and made a great proposal for the company of production.
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion for me means expressing everything that inspires us, transmitting our tastes and expressing them in different clothing styles, during the seasons we can show everything that inspires us and translate it to our liking. Fashion is a trend that we all embrace in some way.
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
Ester Exposito, could be my inspiration for beauty, as she processes everything that makes a woman look beautiful, such as sweetness, sensuality, joy and a bit of evil.
What are your goals as a model?
My main goal as a model is to be able to constantly work on what I am passionate about, to be able to get up day by day and feel that I am achieving each one of my dreams, and being able to convey how beautiful this path is.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers and why?
Kendall Jenner is one of my favorite models, she is a beautiful woman and businesswoman, she has worked for big brands like Victoria Secret, Calvin Klein, Balmain etc. Her posture on the runways, her attitude in front of the cameras is what makes her a great model to admire.
A Colombian model that I admire a lot is Laura Sánchez, a businesswoman since she was little, she has managed to take advantage of her beauty and take advantage of it.
How did you stay in shape?
I am a disciplined woman, when I want something I do everything possible to achieve it, I like to stay in shape, I exercise almost every day. I like to work out a lot with weight, since I am in a process of gaining muscle mass, in terms of food I do my best to eat healthy without denying myself to delicious food (such as hamburgers). I think there should always be a balance, that’s why sometimes I like to eat Fast food and chocolates.
What is fun and rewarding in modeling?
For me, every day that I leave my house for a project, be it photos, commercials, video clips, runways, it is a new experience. It is quite fun to socialize with new people, meet and the most beautiful and rewarding thing is knowing what I am doing and loving it. I like it better, when you do what you feel and like, when it doesn’t feel like work; on the other side you are `just living´
And what do you dislike?
Sometimes I feel like people look down on modeling work and don’t see it as a profession. I do not like that sometimes models are objectified.
What other modeling projects have you done?
Well, I have worked for large projects such as TV commercials, musical productions, catalogs, photography for national brands, runways and soon I will be carrying out a highly anticipated project in Miami.
Name one beauty product you can’t live without.
An essential product for me is sunscreen, it is a product that both men and women should use daily.
What is your advice for the newer models?
My advice to all the models who are just starting on this beautiful path is perseverance, always be clear about what you want and where you want to go; work hard, project yourself, focus, take care of yourself and above all love yourself and feel confident that you can achieve everything you want. Your purpose.
What are the guilty pleasures of food?
The truth is that I love fast food, I am a fan of hamburgers, it is my weakness
How often you go to the gym?
Going to the gym became a lifestyle for me, I like to exercise, when I do it I feel very strong both physically and mentally.
