How and when did you start into modeling?
5 years ago I started in this world with brands that trusted my work and that we could achieve many things together.
I kept working hard until I managed to get recognized by well known brands in Colombia.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
I like that I can be elegant, casual or just be me with a brand where they hire me and identify with me, in the end, modeling is to act and transmit everything you want either in a photo or a catwalk.
I also love that I’m able to find many facets of myself at work from being loving, sexy, and tender in a glance.
I don’t like that sometimes it is misunderstood or undervalued because no one may notice the effort that one as a model have, from the care of the body and the mind since it can psychologically affect you how cruel the people in this field can be.
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
Mainly loving and respecting. That for me is the basis of everything in this incredible world. Never give up if you really like this and work on your body and mind to achieve it since I reiterate that a healthy mind is a healthy body therefore, it is your most sacred work tool. We are what we transmit.
What’s your advice for the newer models and influencers?
Started by mistake (laughter)
I worked in a hospital in the administrative area. Every day on the way to work I used to pass by a modeling agency, then a co-worker told me to study etiquette and protocol to express ourselves and see each other better. I told him to go and we arrived at this modeling agency that I drove by all the time.
Time passed and the owner of the agency began to take me to photos and was getting hired for events and brands. From there, I graduated as a professional model, improved my catwalk and verbal and body expressions. Since then, I’m a model by accident (laughs)
