Check out our interview with country singer-songwriter Siena who just released her latest single, “Get To me.” Siena has an undeniable ability to transport listeners into her world, and she continues to do so in her new single that explores the playfulness of a new relationship. With its introspective lyrics and storytelling, the song effectively captures the essence of excitement and giddiness that comes with having a new love interest.
“The meaning of my single ‘Get To Me’ is based on the feeling when you make that late night call to a person of interest,” Siena explains.”‘Get To Me’ brings female empowerment and flips the script on conventional male ‘booty calls’ while still being fun and flirty.”

Hi Siena, please tell us a little about you?
I was born and raised in Las Vegas and grew up outdoors and riding my horses. When people think of Vegas, they think of The Strip, clubs, and nightlife. I had the pleasure of experiencing everything the west has to offer. California beaches, mountains, and lakes. Some of my hobbies include welding, showing horses, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with my loved ones.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
If I could describe my music in 3 words they would be: fun, grooving, and give you an “at home” feeling
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
I grew up listening to Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, etc, therefore the sound of true country inspires me. I really connect with how songs were written and back then, along with the production. I definitely pull inspiration from Fleetwood Mac and Steve Perry as well.
Do you play any instrument?
I play guitar and a little piano! My mother put me in lessons when I was about 13 years old. I have taken a bigger liking to guitar I shall say.
Do you ever get nervous?
I think if someone says they don’t get nervous, they’d be lying! Nerves can be a good thing. For instance, there are some gigs where I feel completely comfortable and others I have good nerves when I get excited. But I always remind myself to stay calm and have fun during my performance.
Tell us about your new single “Get To Me”?
Thank you! “Get To Me” was written by myself and producer/co-writer, Dave Pittenger. There’s a lyric in the song “you get to me like the high of a rodeo” that relates to my real life. Funny enough, at the time of writing this song, I was in Texas working barrel horses with my family friend and it just came to mind! I wanted something fun and flirty for all my girls out there!
And tell us about the success of your previous singles “Moment Or A Memory,” and “Restless Wind?”
”Moment or a Memory” was actually a more challenging song to get completed. My co-writer/producer Don Miggs was really patient in helping make it what it is. “Moment or a Memory” is about something that happens in your life or when you meet someone really special but you’re not sure of how it’ll turn out. Kind of living in the unknown of what something could be. I feel this was a great song to release after “Restless Wind” because “Restless Wind” was a preface of who I am and my story of leaving my hometown of Las Vegas to follow my dreams in Nashville. “Moment or a Memory” show’s my audience a more hearty version of me and my voice.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the joy my music brings to the audience and watching them sing along to my songs.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
I think reading Atomic Habits is a great book because it helps you find motivation and focus to complete things you want to accomplish.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
The advice I would give my younger self is to always follow your instincts and love yourself for who God made you to be. We all have one life to live and make the most of it.
How would your best friend describe you?
I think my best friends would describe me to be very outgoing, funny, charismatic, and a cowgirl. We always can be ourselves with each other and have the most fun.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
If I had a book the title would probably be something about horses, music, and the outdoors. Maybe “Rope Your Dreams” because I love to rope and follow my dreams.
What’s next for Siena in 2023?
So many things! The video for “Get To Me” is coming out, I’m performing live, and I’m looking forward to connecting with my fans more.
What is your favorite healthy food?
My favorite healthy food has to be either a big beet salad or artichokes. My mother always made it the best.
And your favorite cheat food?
My favorite cheat food is definitely ice cream or a really big Cajun seafood boil all day.
How would you explain your fashion style?
I incorporate my outdoors life into my everyday style by wearing hunting pants, my cowboy boots, buckles I’ve won, good fitting jeans, with a touch of 70’s. And of course there are nights when I like to get a little more dolled up.
What is your own definition of happiness?
My definition of happiness is knowing that I’m making my parents proud because they’ve given so much, I want to repay them one day. Also, when I’m in an open field riding my horse/roping in a sunset and most definitely on stage singing country music living out my dream.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet/be friends with Miranda Lambert. I love her writing, fashion sense, voice, and I feel we are both very similar in our lifestyle.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
A dream holiday would have to be Italy. I’m Italian and named after Siena, Italy! So I would have to visit that town. The culture, food, and architecture looks amazing.
Best advice ever given?
The best advice I was ever given was “Live today as you would be living if you have already accomplished your goals”. That just reminds me to work hard, have good time management, but also enjoy the little moments.
Do you support any charity?
I’m actually a part of a foundation based out of Idaho called Word Of Honor. We work with a certain special ops branch of the military dedicated to helping families with fallen fathers. It’s a very rewarding feeling to help these children and widows.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
The plan is always to be excelling, whether that be in my vocals, guitar playing, performing, and bettering myself everyday. All great things take time but I want to be on some kind of tour, writing hit songs, and possibly a few collaborations!
What is your favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
When I was in vocal lessons as a young girl, my teacher at the time noticed that I had what she would call a “powerhouse” voice. Therefore she would have me sing to Celine Dion or Christina Aguilera. So I definitely like to sing along with their songs.
What do you think of Social Media?
Social media has changed the game for the music industry. One song can go viral and that could change the rest of your life! It also has a great impact on how I connect with my fans because platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, have made it very accessible and interactive!
