Hi Max, please tell us a little about you?
I’m a kid from a small town in New Jersey pursuing my heart’s desires through artistic expression and my way of life.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Passionate, creative and focused.
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
I’ve been and continue to be influenced by many artists. My earliest influences are Usher, John Mayer, Beyonce, and Zay-Z.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Soulful, emotional, and seductive.
Do you play any instrument?
I play the piano and guitar since childhood.
Do you ever get nervous?
No
Tell us about your new single “Backroads?”
Backroads is a song inspired by my life experience.It entails keeping relationships and flames private to keep the romance protected.
What’s the story behind the song?
In the past, I have shared most relationships in the public and I’m now in a place in my life where I value my privacy more than ever.
Do you have any intake in writing the songs or being part of the production team?
I’m a part of the creative process of all of my songs.
Now how did you get started into acting?
I’ve been putting on shows at family gatherings since I was a child, danced for the NYC Knicks at ages 12-13 and went to a Professional Performing Arts School in NYC and got an Agent at 16 and began my tv and movie career.
What is the best and worst part of being an actor?
Best part of being an actor is getting to learn, feel and experience other people’s journeys of life. The worst part of being an actor is there is no worse part. I am eternally grateful for what I do and I get to do what I love to do for a living.
How do you prepare for a role?
I work with my acting coach and do thorough script analysis as possible and research and psychoanalyze the character.
Tell us about working in the popular film “Southern Gospel?”
Southern Gospel was a life-changing film and was the most challenging, exhilarating role I’ve played so far.
How challenging was the casting for this project?
I went through a series of auditions, callbacks and chemistry reads to get this role.
What other projects you have been part of?
The Steven Spielberg/ Stephen King series UNDER THE DOME, Jenji Kohan’s AMERICAN PRINCESS, THE PATH on HULU with Aaron Paul, WALK RIDE RODEO on NETFLIX, iCarly, UGLY BETTY on ABC, and a handful of others that I’ve been blessed to be a part of.
What kind of roles do you like or would like to play and why?
Challenging roles with creative teams that inspire me.
If you weren’t acting or in music, what would you be up to right now?
I’d study Business and Psychology. I did get into NYU and UCLA for Acting and Business.
Which fictional character would be the most exciting to meet in real life?
Peter Pan.
Can you name 3 actors/actresses you would love to work with?
Zendaya, Leonardo DiCaprio and Selena Gomez.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Getting to share it with my parents, cousins and other family members and close friends.
What’s your advice for the newer actors?
Always be studying, growing and working on your craft.
How would your best friend describe you?
Motivated.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
My life is a Movie Musical.
What’s next for Max Ehrich in the last months of 2023 and for 2024?
I have a few live performances that will soon be announced and another film.
What is your favorite food?
Fruits and vegetables.
What is your own definition of happiness?
I find the most happiness when I have a healthy balance between art and personal life.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Jesus Christ so I can to learn how to help and heal people
through my platform.
Best advice ever given?
To keep my head in the Stars and my feet planted in the ground.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
I see myself creating projects that are highly and positively impactful on society.
Do you support any charity?
Aligned with many and intend to support more.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
I see myself making art that speaks to my heart and sharing it with the world.
What is you favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan.
