Hi Sara, please tell us about your new single “BODY?”
My new single “BODY” is another side of me that I haven’t shown yet in my music. It taps into a more sexy, passionate, and playful side. I want to give listeners variety as they are getting to know me more as an artist.
What’s the story behind the song?
It’s not that deep. I just wanted something a little more sexy and playful!
Could you walk us through the creative process behind the making of “BODY”? Were there any challenges or breakthrough moments that shaped the final version of the song?
I made many changes until I got to the final version. I record, then like to sit with the record for a while and come back to it. See how it feels on fresh ears, then make more changes.
Any other future projects in TV? Or you main focus now is in the music industry?
I would love to do more TV and there have been some conversations, but it just hasn’t been the right opportunity – the right show for me that really makes sense. My experience with Shahs really taught me the show just has to be the right fit. My main focus is my music. I really just want to keep going and push myself as an artist, and see where I can take it.
What’s next for Sara Jeihooni in the last months of 2023 and for 2024?
My single “BODY” just dropped on November 3rd, so that will carry out out 2023 for me and I’ll spend the holidays preparing everything for the release of my EP project at the start of 2024.
How would you explain your fashion style?
I’d describe my style as feminine, and I do like to feel put together. I love to follow trends, but I’m very conscious of silhouettes and what works for my body. FWRD is definitely my go-to place when shopping! I am either dressed up in Alaïa, Saint Laurent, or Mugler or in athleisure clothes from Alo – there’s no in between.
