A day in life of Chef Stuart O’Keeffe
Handsome Irish import Chef Stuart O’Keeffe was a weekly food contributor for Dublin’s Evening Herald newspaper and has been recognized internationally since the 2011 debut of Stuart’s Kitchen (aired in Ireland and New Zealand). Chef Stuart then moved to the States, appearing as co-star on two seasons of Food Network’s Private Chefs of Beverly Hills. He currently hosts Kitchen Daily 101 on AOL, and he can be found cooking with Felicity Huffman on her website WhatTheFlicka.com.
Additionally, Chef Stuart is a featured chef on Oprah Winfrey Network’s Home Made Simple. He’s also made an iPad and iPhone app of Stuart’s Kitchen, and is one of the first celebrity chef contributors to Apple’s recent iPad App of the Week, Appetites. He was the North American chef for Tupperware brands, and is currently a global spokesman for Asiana Airlines’ “Fly with Color” campaign.
Chef Stuart is now writing a cookbook called The Quick Six Fix. The foundation of the book – and overall philosophy – is simplicity: Fewer ingredients afford higher quality. Taking smart shortcuts, like pairing key store-bought items with homemade ingredients, saves money. Quick, easy-to-follow recipes result in great-tasting dishes that are sure to wow. And, marrying the old world goodness of Ireland with the abundant fresh offerings of California makes an unbeatable combination.
Stuart lives in Los Angeles with his two Westies, Jack and Bo.
