At 16 and already a self-taught multi instrumentalist and songwriter, Ryan moved to L.A and saw it as the next step in her music career. We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?
I started uploading new music to SoundCloud in 2017 and things just took off from there. Since then things have been moving rather quickly.
What is your musical background?
I started singing at a very young age. 2 years old actually. My dad got me into it. He used to play the guitar and sing the songs that he wrote to me when I was a baby.
Do you play any instrument?
Yes I play piano & guitar but lately I’ve been getting into keeping my nails long so until I cut those guitar is out of the picture ?
Tell us about your single “Borrow Time?”
The song is about time. Time is the most desired, most expensive and most wasted thing under the sun. And we all want more of it.
Do you ever get nervous?
Yes, before I go on stage.
What inspires you to do new music?
It’s usually a strong emotion I feel and when writing I just go from there and the song just pours out of me. Sometimes I also come up with melodies & lyrics in the shower or when I’m driving.
What’s the best and hardest part of being a musician?
Making sure you don’t loose yourself so much in the creativity that you go insane.
Who else in your family sings?
My dad and my grandmother actually. She told me that several of our relatives are opera singers and pianists.
What is your own definition of happiness?
To love and be loved.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Marilyn Monroe. She’s my soulmate
And which project is still on your bucket list?
Hmm.. there’s a lot of things still on my bucket list I wouldn’t know where to start ?
Best advice ever given?
Be true to yourself & don’t try so hard.
What is your next goal as a musician?
I’m gonna continue working on music and hopefully release more in 2018.
Any loves, other then music?
I love Mexican food haha

My family, my friends and music.
What is your favorite healthy food?
hmm… I like green juices.

Chicken sandwich and large ? from Jack in the Box ?

Do you support any charities?
Yes, I support and am a part of the Philip Julius e.V which is a non profit organization for severely handicapped children. My family created the foundation after my handicapped brother passed away in 2011. The foundation makes it easier for families with handicapped children to live their lives, travel and create a happy environment and living situation for their children as well as themselves.
What do you think of Social Media as you are a huge influencer in this category?
I think it’s a great way to connect with your fans. But I think it’s important not to let social media make you doubt or compare yourself or your body to other people.
