Describe yourself in 3 words?
Strong, light and vegan.
How and when did you start into modeling?
When I was 12 my Mother entered me into a modeling competition. At that time I had no idea what would happen. When I was 14 I was scouted several times and one scout introduced me to the modeling world. It really started when one big agency in my city told me that I couldn’t model unless I had plastic surgery on my nose. I didn’t have the surgery and I found another agency who accepted me as I was. One month after joining, I modeled in fashion week and the magic started.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Açai. Is from Brazil and this fruit is just amazing. It has a lot of vitaminas and omega, this gives me energy and is so refreshing in the summer!
And your favorite cheat food?
French fries ❤ I just love them.
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
In five years I see myself continuing to love modeling and having a positive impact on the world. I have always felt the huge importance of me always staying true to myself. Throughout my career people asked me to change. I was just 14 years old when the owner of a big agency told me to have a plastic surgery on my nose. I never had it done. I am proud that I listened to my inner voice and decided not to do this. I am who I am and I am proud that I haven’t made external changes. All the improvements and changes I have made have come from within me. For example I have chosen to be vegetarian and now this has evolved to being vegan. I do exercises regularly, I love boxing and spinning! At this moment of my life I feel better than ever. I want to continue to evolve in my career but it to always be due internal growth.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
Travel around the world, making new friends and experience new cultures. When a modeling job has been finished, it is the best feeling when myself and the whole team (the client, the photographer, myself etc …) are so happy with what we achieved.
The only thing that is not perfect is being away from my family and friends.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
A perfect Sunday for me is a day where I can reenergize myself, be in touch with nature and feeling the energy of the sun.
