Hi Brennah, please tell us about you?
I’m a Texas girl, originally from Houston but living in Austin, Texas while studying Broadcast Journalism at The University of Texas. My ethnic origin is Native American Indian, I am a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. I have a French Bulldog named Rusko and he’s the love of my life!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Quirky, ambitious, captivating.
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
My mother. She is my rock and my biggest fan.

I started modeling when I was 11 years old with Page Parkes Agency.

Tell us a bit about that first experience?
My first photoshoot was an amazing experience. At a young age, I discovered my passion for modeling. When I experienced my first photoshoot on South Beach in Miami for JC Penney, I felt a fire in my heart from the excitement of being able to do a job I knew I would always love.
Out of all of the photos the photographers took of you, which is your favorite and why?
My favorite photo is a headshot AJ Day took of me on the beach in Miami in November of 2015. I wasn’t wearing a lot of make-up which makes me feel naturally beautiful when I look at this photo because it highlights my facial features.
What other modeling projects have you done?
I book steady work with The Chive and The Chivery. They are so much fun to shoot with! I’ve recently modeled for Free People, Ruckus Apparel, House of Ccuoco, various swimwear lines and a promo shoot for Captain Morgan.
Which magazine or project is still on your bucket list?
W, Elle, Maxim and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
Traveling to all the different destinations to shoot is exciting. Portraying different characters in front of the camera lens is my favorite part about modeling! Although it requires a great deal of hard work and commitment having to meet my nutritional goals while staying fit, it pays off when I am able to book more work and continue to grow my career. I will do ANYTHING I am asked to do to “get the shot” but it’s so hard to shoot in swimwear when the water is freezing!!
What’s your advice for the newer models?
Make conscious choices every day that align your actions with your values and ambitions. Never regret anything, take all the chances and risk that come along.
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
Lately, there have been so many interesting opportunities for me. I love shooting with the Chive and have a part in a full feature film, called Bomb City. Next month I will be in LA for some exciting opportunities!
What is your workout routine these days?
I enjoy long runs around Lady Bird Lake and going to Pure Barre.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Hmmm…tough to choose only one. Lately, my favorites include Justin’s Hazelnut Butter with a granny smith apples and pineapples!
And your favorite cheat food?
My guilty pleasure is cookies from Tiff’s Treats!
What is your best body part?
Eyes, my most powerful asset as a model!
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
In 5 years I hope to have ubiquitous industry demand and presence earned through hard work and determination. I will have distinguished myself through top tier bookings with the best photographers, stylists and clients earning next-level visibility.
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
Many different beautiful people inspire me, but Christie Brinkley has always been someone who inspires me. She embodies the all-American look and is such a natural beauty.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?
Tyra Banks has always been my favorite supermodel. She represents that “unique” is beautiful. But I draw inspiration from so many models! My favorite designers are Tom Ford, Zac Posen, Christian Louboutin and Marc Jacobs. These designers have incredible talent and their shows and art work speak for themselves. They don’t just design clothes, they design dreams!
What are your makeup bag staples when traveling?
Mascara Lipstick Bronzer.
What music we can find in your iPod?
I love all genres of music, so you will find a little bit of everything.

My Frenchie Rusko, Water Hair, Brush
What do you think of Social Media?
Social media has had a profound impact on the modeling industry. Every tweet, Instagram photo, and like adds up to a powerful presence within the world of fashion. Today, models are leveraging their followings into key bookings and heightened influence, inciting a media frenzy with each and every post. I think it’s exciting that people can share their opinions, choose their favorites and are given a voice through Social media.
