Bubbly, Happy & Ambitious
Name one your strengths?
My strong passion & love for animals, which motivates me to work hard to make a difference for them.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My family.
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
My parents, they not only demonstrated how to be great role models through their own life experiences, but they taught me all the skills I have today. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am. I am so grateful for them everyday.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”21175″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]How and when did you start into TV and modeling?
I was interested in getting involved in the television industry, after regularly public speaking about animal rights at school. I enjoyed having the opportunity to use my voice & knowledge to speak out about important issues. When I graduated school I wanted to take it into the next level so that encouraged me to look into the television industry – to tap into thousands of listeners. Since then, my passion for speaking in front of the camera has evolved into lots of different & fun jobs. Its been really enjoyable.
The best and worst thing of your job?
The best thing about TV Presenting is that you are forever focusing on how you can become a better version of yourself. There is not many careers that allow you to focus on who you are as a person / brand. As a result of that I feel I have grown a lot & feel very comfortable with who I am. The worst thing about my job, is probably taking rejection & unfair or harsh feedback from others, but you soon teach yourself to take on board what is useful feedback and dismiss that & rise above the other stuff.
What other projects you have been part of?
I regularly get involved in lots of different charity work, whether it range from helping out at animal shelters, to feeding the homeless on the street. These life experiences not only grounds & teaches you a lot, but it gives so much back into the world & those who you are helping.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”21181″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]What keeps you motivated to keep training hard and eating right?
I believe that your physical body is a reflection of your mind & mental health. For me, it is important to maintain a healthy eating routine & regular training, as it keeps me motivated & energized for day to day activities. When I don’t exercise or take care of myself, I feel flat & not myself.
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
My biggest highlight of my career would have to be when I watched myself on television for the first time on Fox Sports Australia, it was very special to me, as it had been something I had been visualizing for a long time.
Best advice ever given?
There is nothing more powerful than the present / now.
What is your workout routine these days?
I like to start off my morning with either pilates reformer at Virgin Active Australia gym or some light cardio outside at my local park or beach. In the evenings I tend to participate in a weights class, or do Barre.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Muscle Meals – it’s a meal plan I get at home. Calorie counted & delicious!
And your favorite cheat food?
Cheese platter & glass of red wine!
Which project is still on your bucket list?
I would like to work in LA and experience what the industry is like here. I have been here now for 2 months and so far have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Any fitness tips you want to share with us?
It took me 6 months to learn this, but 70% of the change you will see, is from your diet. 30% is from the gym. The gym is great for your mental health well being – it helps to make you feel relaxed & reduces stress levels. Diet gives you energy & a physical glow.
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
I would like to see Pound Paws assisting every single rescue & pound in Australia and implementing a no-kill policy in all of them, as well as successfully re-homing lots of the pets. I would also like to travel with my TV Presenting career.
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration? Why?
Brigitte Bardot, because not only did she have physical beauty, but her heart was beautiful too. She expressed this through all of her animal activism work. She is amazing & an icon.
How would you explain your fashion style and what items in your closet can you not be without?
You will either see me dressed in active wear (even if I am not training ha ha) or dressed up in the evening with a bit of a 50’s spin to 40’s spin!
What music do you like?
Acoustic / Chill.
Favorite song? Why?
You were right – Rufus. The lyrics & how it always finds a way to get stuck in my head!
What is your own definition of happiness?
Happiness within oneself with no need to seek others approval. Or, an island full of kittens & puppies that I can play with.
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
Talking about how much money he has, as soon as a guy starts bragging about things that can help ‘identify’ him, I know straight away that there is no substance to his personality / being.
Do you support any charities?
I am the founder of my own charity, Pound Paws. It is an Australian charity that helps to re-home dogs & cats in Australian pounds & rescue centres. This charity is not only focused on educating the Australian public about the importance of choosing to adopt instead of shop, but providing an online service which connects new owners to pets available for adoption. I also volunteer my time as a TV presenter for several Australian charities and for example the Sydney Childrens Hospital.
A perfect Sunday is…?
One relaxing & preparing myself for the week ahead.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Eckhart Tolle & thank him for his wise words, as his book ‘The Power of Now’ helped sculpt my life into a positive one. He is so wise.
3 things you can’t leave home without?
Myself (hehe), phone & wallet.
What do you think of Social Media?
I think social media can be a very powerful platform, especially when it is used for the right reasons. I have learnt this first hand through my charity, Pound Paws. I have been able to use this Instagram handle to help raise awareness about dogs / cats available for adoption thus re-homing them.

Holiday Destination: Anywhere tropical.
Celebrity Crush: Richie McCaw (former All Blacks Captain) – not only does he demonstrate great leadership for his team, but he seems like a great all-rounder, judging from his involvement in both political and charitable work. One particular action that stood out to me, was when the 7.5 magnitude earthquake in New Zealand happened, he helped rescue efforts out by flying an emergency service helicopter (he is a commercial helicopter pilot).
Restaurant: Any Japanese restaurant with fresh sashimi
Actor/Actress: Rachel McAdams – love her & every single character she plays.
Quote: The harder you fall the higher you bounce. It relates to any sequence in life. Whenever I am going through a tough / challenging time, I look forward to the positive that will come after it.
Book: Catcher in the Rye – I studied this book at school & it resonated with me a lot throughout a time where I was experiencing alienation from peers in my class.
Movie: Ray – Absolutely love Ray Charles music, so thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
Sports Team: Brumbies (Rugby Union) – I did the hosting for their TV show last year and really enjoyed getting to know the boys & watching them succeed in their premiership.
Drink: Water, it heals everything. A lot of people tend to underestimate the value of it. I like to mix it up by adding fruit into my water bottles, or even drops of Rose Syrup.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
