Hi Cree, Tell us a little about yourself?
I’m 13, I have a twin sister, and I’m obsessed with animals. I dance, act and love art as well. I’m a total fan-girl, I love writing and I’m proud to be weird.
How did you first get your start in acting?
I’ve been dancing since forever so I’ve always loved preforming. I loved making people laugh and I wasn’t nervous being silly for a crowd. My mom thought it would be a fun experience and a new activity to try so she put me in a sketch comedy group.
What’s your favorite part about acting?
I guess just being able to add character to dialogue. When you first receive a script, even just for auditions, its just words on paper. But, the fun part is getting into character and bringing those words to life. There is so much possibility to what you can do to a single line.
How do you prepare for a role?
I usually try to get myself in that character’s mindset. I give myself a mental pep talk explaining that I’m the character and I’m going through the situation that they’re going through. It’s sort of like “What would I do in this situation? How quick would I say this? What would I be doing with my hands if I was feeling this?” It’s been pretty helpful throughout auditions.
Tell us about your experience in castings?
My experience was amazing. After my very first audition, I got over any fear of auditions. From there on I was extremely comfortable and it was more fun then scary.
Now tell us about your role in “Game Shakers”?
I play Babe in Game Shakers. She is a strong, independent, tough New Yorker chick who loves going on crazy adventures. She loves her friends and is more than happy to drag them along on her crazy plans and get them out of trouble. She’s wild and a whirlwind to portray.
How did you got selected for the role?
I’m honestly so grateful and lucky. I hadn’t been acting long when I was selected for Babe. I’d barely done any work and had very little experience, but after a few auditions, tests and callbacks, I was Babe. I’m so thankful to have landed such an amazing opportunity so early into my acting career. It’s really been a crazy and amazing journey so far.
What’s one of the funniest things that have happened to you on set?
I remember one time I was walking off set to go to my dressing room. I turned a corner and Thomas jumped out and scared me. I jumped so hard that I ran farther down the hallway and as I was doing so, Benji came out of another corner and scared me. This time I was so in shock I fell to the floor. We all were laughing for like 10 minutes.
Have any great memories with your co-stars that you’d want to share?
We love being silly and playing around together. Some of our best memories are playing intense rounds of cops and robbers in the hallways at the studio.
Do you have a favorite actress or actor that inspires you?
I love Kristen Wiig. She is so hilarious and brilliant and she really inspires me. She just can do so many different shades of comedy, and I really admire her style.
What’s your favorite show on T.V. right now?
Uh, Game Shakers duh…Just Kidding I really watch to many to choose a favorite
What’s a normal day in your life?
Wake up early, cuddle with puppy for a bit, get dressed, eat breakfast, brush teeth, comb hair, head to set, work all day, drive home, facetime sister, eat dinner, do some homework, cuddle with puppy, go to sleep.
When it comes to fashion, what’s your favorite trend?
Honestly, the trend I love most is being comfortable and yourself in clothing. If you’re into skirts and sneakers, rock that. If you like top buns and scarfs, go for it. The best fashion trend is being you and loving what you wear.
Do you have any fashion inspirations?
I love Demi Lovato’s style. She has this really fun and edgy vibe with her clothes that I really like.
3 things you can’t live without?
Food, family, dogs
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Acting and working with animals
How important is Social Media for you?
VERY important. It’s a way for me to connect with people back home in NYC and a way for me to talk to all the amazing Game Shaker supporters that show all their love.
