Upcoming Canadian actor Danny Agha just released his feature film “Nocturna” where he plays detective ‘Roy Cody’ in the horror-crime film about a vampire clan called ‘Molderos’ who feed on the blood of children and the detective who stumble into this dark world. Also starring in the film are Estella Warren, Mike Doyle and Jonathan Scheach.

So how did it all begin?
It all began in my early high school years, I took a drama class my freshman year & I fell in love with the craft immediately.. i just didn’t know how to make a career out of it or pursue it further. Thankfully enough I have extremely supportive parents who decided to send me LA upon graduating to allow me the opportunity to do what i had such a strong passion for.
What was your first acting role?
My first acting role was a NyQuil Commercial that I did 2 months after ariving to Los Angeles.
If you could act with anyone as your co-star, who would it be and why?
I think I would chose Christian Bale, I have been a huge fan of his since his early work going back to when he played Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. His dedication to the craft has always inspired me to never be satisfied with my work & always see that there is constant room for improvement.
Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?
My faviourit actor is Christian Bale, Whenever I watch him I always find my self sitting on the edge of my seat never really knowing what he’s going to do next. In my oppinon I find him to be one of the most exciting and talented individuals in show business.

Optimistic, Drivin, Ambitious.
Tell us about your character Roy Cody in “Nocturna”?
Roy Cody is a rookie detective who is a firm believer in god & always doing the right thing even in the most complicated of situations, His drive & firm beliefs are what lead him to prevailing in the end & rescuing a missing little girl with out going against any of his morals even tho he discovers he is in-between a century long feud between two secretive factions of vampires.
How did you got selected for the role?
I auditioned 4 times for the role & finally received the call from my agent saying I had booked the role. Its was Probably one of the greatest feelings, Not many things can make me feel the way i did that day after receiving that phone call.
How was the casting?
The casting was great, The process is always sort of stomach turning but as long as your confident and know what your doing you know in the back of your head you have nothing to worry about.
And tell us about your movie “Vitrous”?
Virtous is a film on a news reporter who was kidnapped in Iraq during the war in 2003 with the US & following that incident what America had to do in order to rescue this young lady.
What do you like to do when have some free time?
I like to hang out with friends, go to the gym, Maybe play a little hockey. Anything that keeps me active really.
How’s a normal day in your life?
I wake up at 5:00 AM every single day I’m in the gym by 6:00 AM i work out for about an hour, By the time i get home & have break fast its about 8:00 AM & I’m off and running, everyday is sort of different but at the moment i am preparing for another film so I’m working with my acting coach for a large portion of the day & i just try to relax and hang out with family or friends.
Do you practice any sport? Or how do you stay fit?
I play a variety of different sports however football & hockey is what i grew up on in Canada and is what i have continued to play up to this day. I work out every day 6 days a week with no exceptions of missing any one of them & I use sunday as my rest day before doing it all over again the following week.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My mom & dad i would have to say, With out them i would not have had the opportunity to move to Los Angeles and follow my dreams of becoming an actor so i owe everything to them.
Any other future plans?
I am in the process of opening up a restuarant in the LA area, as well as starting up my own charity for child hunger all around the world.
Best advice ever given?
Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
What music do you have in your iPod?
The majority of music I listen to comes from a fellow Canadian artist ( Drake ) I am able to relate to his music and the things he goes through, I almost feel like his music was written for me.
How important is Social Media for you?
Social media is deffintly an important aspect especially for me being in show business, Its a way for me to connect with all my supporters around the world & let them know what film they can expect to see me in next, or just see what I’m up to really.
