Since beginning her career at the age of 6, Ellery Sprayberry has appeared in Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning series such as “House M.D.,” “CSI: Miami,” “Criminal Minds,” “Brothers & Sisters,” “The Mentalist,” and “The Young and the Restless,” where she recurred heavily. Her most recent television credits include ABC’s “Back in the Game” and NBC’s “About a Boy.”
Ellery latest project The Bronze, (to be released in late 2015) starring Melissa Rauch, Sebastian Stan and Gary Cole, from Duplass Brothers Productions and Oscar-nominated director Bryan Buckley. She also has a starring role in The Butterfly Room (released April 2014).
Also an active Voice Over actor, her resume includes films like Happy Feet Two, Ice Age, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. A multi-talented young woman, Ellery continues to train in aerial cirque, performing gravity-defying feats on silks, rings, and bars.
Ellery resides in Los Angeles with her family.

Please tell us about you?
What can I say! I’m an actor, an aerialist…I like eating watermelon LOL – I love music and I play the drums. Oh and I love Baseball hats and I collect them!!
Are you going to school or are you full time in this business?
I’m a full time actor and I homeschool, which really helps me focus on my craft and be available for auditions and work.
Do you have or had acting classes?
Yes, I’ve been acting since I was five so I’ve studied quite a few techniques – I have done some Shakespeare, Method and Meisner.
How do you prepare for a role?
I always read the script, when its available and then I work on the sides. I make notes, and I break down the character and her background and then I continue to do research as needed.
Which role has been the most challenging and which one is your favorite?
The most challenging role was the most recent one where I got to do theatre for the first time. I played the role of Talia for the 23rd Annual Young Playwrights Festival, and it was a great experience – My favorite role though was definitely Young Hope in the movie The Bronze, because I got to use both my acting and gymnastics skills.
How do you think your parents help you as an actor?
My parents and my grandma are amazing – they are so supportive and have always been there for both my brother Dylan and me – we moved to LA when I was 6, so we could pursue our dreams.
How important has been having an actor brother?
It’s been really important, my bro is such a great actor and a wonderful brother. He always inspires me to be the best I can be!
What would you tell other kids that want to be actors?
There are no shortcuts, so you will need to be prepared to work really hard and never give up.
Best advice ever given?
The best advice ever given to me is – Have Fun, Maintain balance, and stay healthy and happy.
What’s your favorite music?
I am into Rock and Roll ! I love the Stones, Jack White, sleeping with sirens, Bombay Bicycle Club, just to name a few.
What embarrassing songs might I find on your iPod?
Haha!! Nicki Minaj – Anaconda.
What hidden talents do you have?
I am really good with kids. SO If you ever need a babysitter – hit me up! HAHA
