Though a fresh act into the highly competitive musical realm, Giulietta has won praise from her fellow industry peers via her natural pop vocals and unique and identifiable market image. Whilst fame can often blind, Giulietta has remained humble and gracious in her achievements, crediting her ongoing success to the support of her friends, family and mentors.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Giulietta branched out into into the musical network in the early stage of her career, by enlisting the services of renowned DJ and producer Marcus Knight. Knight was an early musical influence for Giulietta and would help to spawn her early sleeper hit ‘Dirty House Music’ (globally played and launching at number #4 on the BeatPort charts whilst being featured twice on the ARIA Club Charts). Capitalising on her first taste of musical delight, a scouting approach and pairing with multi-time Grammy Award winner David Kershenbaum was to follow. Kershenbaum was the genius behind stars Janet Jackson, Tracey Chapman and Bryan Adams. This latest joint-venture produced Giulietta’s debut album ‘Ascension’ – which was released on April 13, 2010. ‘Ascension’ which featured mixing by Rob Orton (Lady Gaga) and Chris Cox (Britney Spears, Rihanna) and spawned a remix of the hit single ‘Vertigo’ by US Billboard chart topper Dave Aude, granted social and statistical success, reaching #16 on the ‘US Billboard Dance Charts’. In conjunction, the ‘Vertigo’ video clip premiered across the US on CoolTV and Yahoo Music, generating a promising, imminent buzz.Whilst the young starlet continued to stamp her impression on the popular music industry, critics and media personnel began to feature her in publications ‘The Herald Sun’ (Australia’s market leader in family and social oriented newspaper) and ‘Today Tonight’ (a highly rated Australian current affairs program).
Domestic success soon spread abroad, as Giulietta was honored with an ‘International Pop Artist of the Year Award’ at the ‘Los Angeles Music Awards’ in Hollywood in November, 2009. She was also recognised with the ‘Producers Choice Award’ and a ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame Award’, establishing her as one of the globe’s most highly anticipated artist for the future.
After a brief hiatus, Giulietta returned to her native residence to begin writing and recording her first home-grown record ’911: Code Pink’ with local producer Simmy now out via Soundcloud FREE. This fresh musical alliance produced the artist’s first free album release, exclusively for fans online and apprised her first collaborative album work with featured guest artist Tay Dizm (Nappy Boy) as well as a host of other new-coming acts. The record, though taking on a different creative approach to ‘Ascension’, establishes an edgier, electro-pop side to the fundamentals of the musical capabilities within Giulietta’s arsenal. Shortly after Giulietta went on to completing her first International Tour throughout China, from the high success of her Album 911: Code Pink, finishing up in late 2013.
Soon after Giulietta linked up with Los Angeles hit maker Praajex, since 2014 the two have joined forces in creating hit singles. And by hit singles we’re talking about “Uptown.” After its iTunes release in 2014 the single “Uptown” sky rocketed to #1 on the European Dance Charts, the song was then signed to (Discowax/Sony). Giulietta then went on to touring her 2nd International headline tour through out China with the success of her single “Uptown.” Performing and becoming the face of Mumms Champagne for Christmas & NYE. Soon after Giulietta and Praajex reconnected in Los Angeles to finish her 3rd Independent Album “XXI.” Having now released three singles off the project including “Over”, “She Ain’t Like Me” & recently “Real 1”, the project is set to hit all online stores. Featuring production from Praajex, Devin Cruz, Simmy Beats & more. The album is due to release 16th June 2015 on iTunes, Tidal, Spofity & so on.

Hi Giulietta please tell us about you?
I’m just young & having fun, 22 trying to get the world to hear my stories & my sound.
How did you get started?
I started singing when I was four, my parents put me through singing class the moment they saw I could hold out a note. Many years past and singing became my number 1 passion, taking classes, doing performances & recording.
When I was 14 my very first release “Dirty House Music” virally hit #4 worldwide on the Beat Port dance charts. From there I went on doing my very first club show appearance in Orange County. Not long after I teamed up with a Multi Grammy Winning producer where together we produced my first album – and the first single we release hit #16 on the US Billboard Dance Charts. And it’s been uphill from that point forward, I’ve been continually working on music, traveling doing shows, keeping everything rolling.
Do you have any music influence?
I’m a huge fan of Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani. I love how edgy and versatile they both are.
Who has been the biggest inspiration in your life? Why?
My family, they have always supported me since I was little. They play such a huge part in my life, and have always encouraged me to follow my dreams.
Explain your sound in 3 words
Strong, Sleek, Fierce.
Tell us about your recent single “Real 1”?
Real 1 is about a past relationship that I was in when I was 21. I wanted to be as real as I could on this song and literally tell my story, so people could follow, feel and understand the pain in me as a person at the time. Of course it comes along with a sick beat. But the real meaning behind it is definitely a painful 21 year old, heartbroken and hurt, wanting to let that one dude know, hey you had a real 1.. So why did you mess that up?!
And about the success of “Uptown”?
The success of Uptown happened so fast. The song dropped on iTunes and within a week it got picked up in Europe and was signed to WAXX/Sony. I then released the official video and BOOM! It climbed it’s way up the European Dance Charts before my eyes, crazy! Before we knew it, it was Number #1! Was a great feeling for both Praajex & I.
Where do you live currently?
The land down under! (Melbourne, Australia)
Funniest thing that ever happened at an event?
Probably when I was on tour. We had a show, and before the show they brought us a bunch of bottles of champagne, I brought one on stage and decided to shower everyone in the audience. Funnily enough the fans thought it would be even cooler if they joined in, so they literally started spraying champagne all over me while I was on stage as well. It was pretty much just a massive champagne shower all over the club. Almost felt like a water fight only stickier HA! Not sure how impressed the club owners were after that!
Are you working on any current projects?
I just released my 3rd independent album XXI, and I’m working on doing all the promo tours & shows for that. I’m hoping to jump back into the studios in LA soon too!
Any loves, other then music?
Outdoors… I love being out by the beach, exploring, having fun, skiing and snorkeling. (Pretty sure I was a mermaid in my past life!).
What music we can find in your iPod?
Right now: G Eazy, Kehlani, Post Malone & ASAP Ferg
What hidden talents do you have?
I can text hella fast without looking at my phone, everyone calls me a freak for it because I have long nails and I’m so fast at typing… *I think that’s talent* haha.
Best advice ever given?
My dad. “Pretty boys don’t go far”
Favorite Band?
Not sure if I have one currently but if you had asked me that when I was younger, Spice Girls?
If you weren’t singing, what would you be doing?
I love editing & directing, so maybe somewhere in the film industry.
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
I envision my music career taking me all around the world. Sell out arenas and creating amazing music that will touches people’s hearts. Hopefully even married and have some kids? That would be nice.
How important is Social Media for you?
I think it’s really important; it’s the way of the world these days. I sometimes wonder how things use to be done. Now your able to have people all around the world know who you are at the touch of a button.
