Saturday night, Feb. 28 was an award-worthy evening as Hakkasan Nightclub along with MGM Grand threw a glitzed out celebration for resident DJ Tiësto in honor of winning his first ever GRAMMY-award earlier this month. The special affair began in the lobby of MGM Grand around 9:30 p.m. where the famed DJ was greeted by video collage of his achievements as his hit tracks blared through the speakers transforming the space for this exciting event. As fans gathered around, Tiësto offered up his signature as a thank you for supporting him and contributing to his recent success. Around 10:00 p.m., Hakkasan Group President Nick McCabe joined Tiësto on the red carpet and presented him with a custom Hakkasan plaque in honor of his success.
After enjoying a meal in the nightspot’s multi-level restaurant, Tiësto hit the decks in the nightclub around 1:00 a.m. Upon arrival in the DJ booth, the celebrated artist was greeted with a custom multi-tier, award-themed cake by a bevy of stunning cocktail waitresses slinging confetti for the grand occasion. The crowd roared with excitement as the popular artist hoisted his prize in the air for all to see. After posing for a few photos, Tiësto commanded the crowd and enjoyed a two-hour set before departing the nightspot out around 4:00 a.m.
