Since its official launch on February 8, 2016, the channel has garnered over 120 million views and 590,000 subscribers from all around the world. YouTwoTV provides weekly relatable and shareable content that touches on everything from relationships and education to work-related comedy.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”23865″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]Hi Harjit and Jaz, please tell us about you?
Harjit: We’re just two kids from Brampton, Canada! I’m 24 years old with an obsession with creating. I think that’s the best way to describe myself. I started a production company after high school and shot everything from weddings to music videos. Somewhere in-between that, I made Youtube videos.
Jaz: Harjit’s actually turning 25 in 3 weeks so he’s technically not 24. I just thought I’d say that because I’m 26 and I don’t want to seem old in comparison haha! I went to school for marketing and I’ve pretty much worked a million jobs while trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.
Harjit – We make Comedy skits on YouTube under the name YouTwoTV which we’ve somehow managed to make our full-time job!

Creative, silly, passionate
Best advice ever given?
Stop caring about what everyone else thinks and do you.
Do you have a role model?
H – Eminem
J – Donald Glover
Name one your strengths?
H – Anything to do with Cameras. I can figure out how to use even the most complicated cameras within minutes. I guess I’m pretty good with using them too… haha.
J – Business. I know how to market myself and our brand and turn what we have into a real business!
How is a normal day in your life?
Every day is pretty different for us, we usually wake up and go to the gym. We make ourselves breakfast, usually eggs or oatmeal. Some days we’re running errands, some days we’re shooting our videos, some days we’re at meetings and interviews and on the other days we’re stuck to our computers editing our vlogs and replying to emails or scripting our next video!
Who has been the biggest influence on your life so far?
H – Jaz, because she’s a big dreamer and that positive vibe spreads on to me.
J – Harjit, because he’s so hard working and he taught me to never stop when you’re tired but to stop when you’re done.
How and when did you start into YouTube?
J – We started YouTwoTV in February 2016. We were both working behind the scenes, Harjit doing videography and I was doing social media management and we both had already dabbled with YouTube already.
H – We kind of realized that we hated being behind the scenes and wanted to be in front of the screen. It didn’t make sense to make separate channels since we were helping each other, so we sat down, came up with the name and that’s when we decided to start a channel.
What do you think of the huge success you guys have on your channel?
J – It’s crazy. I knew we were on to something, but I never thought we would grow this fast this quickly.
H – We definitely didn’t think any of this would happen as fast as it did. It’s been a life changing experience and we’re still trying to figure everything out! We’re just making sure we don’t take anything for granted and we continue working hard.
How do you manage all the social success you have and the part of everyone is looking to you all the time?
J – Stay humble!
H – We know that it’s what we signed up for and it’s awesome being able to inspire a few people in the world.
If you guys were not doing your hit YouTube channel, what you think you’ll be doing?
J – I would probably be a social media manager for another YouTuber. haha
H – I would be a videographer. I would hate it, but it’s better than doing any sort of office job
Tell us about your 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs “FAN FAVE MUCH CREATOR” award?
J – This was a huge deal for us. The MMVAs have never had an award for creators, so we were the first creators to get it and we were up against some really talented people!
H – We both grew up watching the MMVAs because it’s a huge thing in Toronto, so it was a dream come true to get up on that stage and accept that award!
What is your favorite healthy food?
J – Acai bowls!
H – Burrito Bowls!
And your favorite cheat food?
J – Pizza!
H – Chicken Wings!

What is your idea of a perfect Sunday?
Watching Netflix, making some epic to do lists for the week and eating ALL OF THE FOOD!
