Hi Jordyn, please tell us a little about you?
Hey Naluda Magazine, thanks for having me! I’m a 13-year-old actress, currently as a series regular on ABC TV’s Home Economics. I also enjoy singing and playing the ukulele. In my spare time, I love hanging out with my friends at the mall and going
on picnics!
If your friends or family could describe you in 3 words, what would they be?
Funny, fashionable, and easy-going.
How did you get started into acting?
When I was 18 months old, I did a few print jobs, which got me started in the acting industry. When I turned 7 years old, I moved on from print jobs and began to pursue theatrical work. My mom and I moved to Los Angeles where I got an amazing manager and I signed with an agent. After I had some success, my father joined us in LA.
What is the best and worst part of being an actress?
The best part is the feeling of passion towards acting and the worst part for me is Rejection.
How do you prepare for a role?
I make sure to memorize my lines, get a good idea of the character description, and give it 110% when auditioning, because you must make a great first impression.
Tell us about your work in ABC’s comedy hit “Home Economics?”

I absolutely love doing comedy, but I have a huge passion for drama roles. I am excited for my next drama role that’s coming out soon!
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Feeling proud of your work and your delivery on lines, is what is most rewarding to me.
What’s your advice for the newer actors?
Always have a passion for everything you do, because the second that you lose that passion, working starts to feel like a chore.
