Describe yourself in 3 words?
Son. Brother. Comedian.
Who was your role model as a child?
Bruce Lee.
How did you get started into Acting?
I love storytelling. The craft of Acting is a happy medium for storytelling.
How has this changed your life?
It expands your ability to use your senses.
Tell us about your work in CBS show “Tommy?”
I play Los Angeles detective Abner Diaz. Abner is fashion-forward, wants people to know he has a sense of humor and is loyal to his friends.
Now tell us about the Netflix movie “Vampires vs. the Bronx?”
It’s a fun movie about Bronx teenagers fighting vampires to save their Bronx neighborhood. The film is a blend of horror and comedy.
And about your role?
I play “Papo,” who inhabits the neighborhood with his main man “Andre”. Papo and Andre provide comic relief and help the heroes in the fight against the vampires.
What other projects you have been part?
Marvels Runaways, Brooklyn 99, Superstore, and in 2016, I shot and sold my pilot, “A Bronx Life.”
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
People you meet. Every project is a journey, and journies always requires the assistance of new friends.

Fantastic! Atop my bookcase, I keep the frame from that ceremony.
How would you explain your fashion style?
“Urban Hiker”. LOL. I enjoy a good fleece, slacks, and a backpack.
What would be a deal-breaker on a first date?
Negativity.
How would your best friend describe you?
Funny.
What’s next for Vladimir Caamaño in 2020?
I first wish for a swift victory against the coronavirus pandemic. Following that: More gratitude, writing, acting, producing and standup comedy.
What is your own definition of happiness?
It’s a big question. To be good health and be in the company of loving friends and family.
How is a normal day in your life?
A typical day involves coffee, writing, and spending time with friends and family.
What is your idea of a perfect Sunday?
Watching Nature shows like “Planet Earth.”
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
To name a few: Paulo Coelho, Denzel Washington, Quincy Jones, Melissa Mcarthy, Ellen, Nina Simone, Kevin Hart. The list is my mind is much longer. I like what each of them has done or is doing creatively.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Water.
And your favorite cheat food?
Pancakes.
Best advice ever given?
“You are only as good as your last show.”
Name 3 things you can’t live without?
The three things I can’t live without are water, music, and laughter.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
In 5 years, I see myself doing the same thing I am doing now only with more volume.
Favorite song? Why?
“Blue In Green” by Miles Davis. “Blue in Green” calms my spirit.
