Check out our interview with actor and social media influencer Daylan Moore. He started acting at the age of 6 and is best known as Big Chuck in the award-winning film URBAN SCOUTS. Daylan is also a philanthropist and is passionate about racial discrimination and social justice, poverty, homelessness and hunger.

Hi Daylan, please tell us a little about you?
Hi, I’m Daylan Moore. I am 14 years old and a highschool freshman. I love spending time with family and friends. I’m a huge sports fan. My teams are the LA Clippers and the University of Alabama! I also enjoy helping my community through the National Junior Honor Socity.

Outgoing, Intelligent and Clever
Who is your biggest supporter?
My Mother
How’s a typical day in your life?
I am homeschooled so I complete my schoolwork for the day, prep for any upcoming auditions, work out and then chill after completing my household chores.
Now tell us about being a popular influencer?
It is cool being a popular influencer but it comes with a lot of responsibility. My goal is to always be positive and uplift other people.
You are followed by so many young fans. How do you feel about that pressure of doing always the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
It’s really not that much pressure because of my upbringing. However, when I do make a mistake it is important to admit the mistake and learn from it. This is what I would like my followers to learn and do. I encourage people to true to themselves and follow their dreams regardless of big or small.
What do you think is the secret to have a successful site/social media channels?
Being true to yourself and engaging.
On the acting side, tell us about your work on award-winning film “URBAN SCOUTS?”
Working on this film was amazing! The director, crew and fellow cast mates became family.
And about your role as Big Chuck?
This role required me to tap into emotions I never knew I had. Big Chuck provided comedic relief and he tried to be tough but he was a baby at heart.
What other projects you have been part of?
National commercials.
Do you have a favorite actress or actor that inspires you?
Chadwick Boseman, Viola Davis and Storm Reid.
Do you ever get nervous?
When I was younger, yes I definitely got nervous but as I’ve gotten older I’ve learned to channel my nervousness into positive energy.
Best advice ever given?
Be patient.

God, Family, Friends, iPhone and Music.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Chadwick Boseman because of how he brought to life every character he played and made them so relatable.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Feeling comfortable and free in your own skin.
What is you favorite song? Why?
The Bigger Picture because it speaks out on racial/social injustice and the problem is bigger than Black and White.
Who is your role model?
Grandparents because they have been married 53 years and my Mom.
Name one your strengths?
My ability to empathize with others.
How do you spend your spare time?
Pre Covid, attending Clipper games, amusement parks and skating. Now having movie and game nights with family and friends.
What hidden talents do you have?
Great speller and excellent chef.
Where would you like your career to be in the next 5 years?
Series regular on a popular show.
Your idea of a perfect Sunday is?
Attending church and a good southern Sunday dinner.

Yes, Equal Justice Initiative.
