Hi Zara, please tell us a little about you?
Hi! I’m Zara Jirgis and I have been in the entertainment industry since the age of 4. I am an American born Egyptian Jordanian Actress and Model who loves being in front of the camera! On my free time I love hanging out with my friends, and trying new activities.

What is the best and worst part of being an actress?
The worst part of being an actress is when you don’t hear back from the audition you did. The best part is when you actually do hear back that you booked it!
How do you prepare for a role?
The way I prepare for a role is I’ll watch a few episodes of the show I’m auditioning for if the show is already on tv so I can get a sense of the show and how the characters are. I’ll go over my lines several times with my mom to make sure I’m being off book. Then I’ll get right into the audition. Sometimes if it’s a huge role for a series regular or feature film I’ll get some one on one coaching for it.
Tell us about your work in projects like Disney’s Princess Jasmine?
I was the pretty much the face of Disney’s Princess Jasmine for several years. I did tons of modeling in the Disney Jasmine outfits, costumes, dresses, accessories, and even on the toy boxes for the Jasmine dolls! It was so amazing because everyone says I look just like Princess Jasmine!
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
I see my self in a lead role in a feature film or a series regular on a show, particularly in a role that’s looking for middle eastern Arab girl.
