Hi Olivia, please tell us a little about you?
I am 16 years old, and I am an actress, influencer, public speaker and presenter. I am also a Model United Nations Speaker. I have a twin brother called Maximillian (@maximillian_marcham) who is my best friend, and a chihuahua called Lola, who also has an instagram page (@lady_lola_chihuahua).
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Charismatic, Ambitious, and Hard-working
Name one your strengths?
I love public speaking and discussing important issues on stage. I have won various public speaking, and debate competitions.
Best advice ever given?
The best advice I’ve heard was from ‘Legally Blonde’ during Elle’s graduation speech, this was “You must always have faith in people, and you must always have faith in yourself”.
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
My mum has been my role model since the day I was born. She has always taught me compassion for others, but also determination to go for what I want in life. She is my hero!
How and when did you start into modeling?
I started modelling when I was young as my mum was a photographer so I loved taking pictures, but started to seriously get into modelling via Instagram last year.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
I love that every shoot, and location is different, it is so exciting, and I love dressing up in different outfits! I don’t really like waking up early in the morning to get to shoots however!
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
To be punctual, groomed and enthusiastic!
What’s your advice for the newer models?
Keep going, and never give up! Sometimes its hard but always believe in yourself and you’ll go far.
Tell us about your film in the UK?
Next year I am starring in a new film, titled ‘Lucky’, about the life of a young influencer and his family. I love this project as it has such an important message, and can’t wait to start shooting! You can follow this movie for trailers @lucky.the.movie
Now talking about Social Media, can you share some tips for keeping your Instagram account interesting?
Good quality photos, and interacting with your supporters. I love talking to everyone on my Social Media!
What’s next for Olivia Marcham in 2019/2020?
Making the new film in January, I’m really excited for my first film premiere!
Which magazine or project is still on your bucket list?
I would love to do something to do with Netflix, I spend way too much time watching series, so would love to star in one one day!
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
In five years I either see myself at university studying Law, or filming in LA. Hopefully both!! Lets see where life takes me!
What actor/actress do you admire the most, and why?
Emma Watson has always been an inspiration for me. I loved her in the Harry Potters when I was young, but am now inspired by her amazing speeches and activities to make the world a better place!
What is your favorite healthy food?
Sushi! I could eat it everyday.
And your favorite cheat food?
You can never go wrong with pizza!
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
I don’t have one, I believe beauty comes from within. A kind heart equals a beautiful face.
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion is a brilliant way of expressing who you are, and making you feel the most confident you can be.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Lin-Manuel Miranda! I am a huge fan of Hamilton, and would freak out if I met him!
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
Last year I fell in love with LA and Malibu and will be visiting again soon. I can’t wait to go back. I will be coming with my mum and brother, but if I bumped into Shawn Mendes that would be the icing on the cake!
What do you like to watch on Tv?
As I am writing this, I am wearing my Gilmore Girls jumper, so definitely Gilmore Girls.
What music do you like?
Shawn Mendes is my favourite! I saw him in LA in July and it was one of the best moments of my year!
Do you support any charity?
I am currently raising money for a brilliant charity called ‘Together for Short Lives’. They raise money for 53 children hospices across the UK and are amazing.
3 things you can’t leave home without?
My phone, lipstick and dog!
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Snuggled up in bed with a good book or Netflix.
