Smart, open minded, creative.
Name one your strengths?
My ability to stand my ground and stand up for what’s right no matter what.
What inspires you?
My family, in particularly my abuela.
Why and how did you get started in acting?
I loved being in front of the camera and i begged my mom for a year until she eventually got me into classes with gray studios.
What roles do you like to play? And why?
So far I’ve only played characters who aren’t the nicest and are always the “mean girl” in some way, but I would really love to switch it up, take on more challenging roles and you know, throw in a splash of kindness here and there.
Tell us about your role in Disney’s hottest show “Andi Mack?”
I play a girl named Kira. She’s a little rough around the edges and definitely not very liked but she brings a lot to the table regarding the show. I can’t say much about who she is and her plot but I’m very excited for how the rest of season 3 plays out.
And now about ABC’s hit show “Celebrity Wife Swap?”
Celebrity wife swap was definitely the thing that first introduced me to the acting world and business. I was so fascinated with what went on behind the scenes and how everyone had their own jobs to make this whole show come together. And then being placed in front of that camera, even as a little girl, I knew THIS is what I wanted to do. It was so familiar and comfortable to me.
What’s your advice for the newer actors?
My advice for newer actors is to know your worth. Because if you don’t know that you’re awesome then when all these no’s get slammed in your face, it’s going to take a toll on you. Be who you are and don’t change how you see yourself just to fit in this business. And lastly get a good team behind you who will ground you and who will work hard for you.
What other projects you have been part of?
I was Young Maddie in recovery road on Freeform, Susan in Nicky Ricky Dicky and Dawn on Nickelodeon, and of course Kira in Andi Mack on Disney Channel. But there are a few other projects in the making so stay tuned.
Tell us about your famous YouTube channel “KIDSREACT?”
I was on the youtube show Kids react for a little bit of time. But it was very fun, everyone was always so kind and welcoming. And to see my castmates now reacting to generations react to Andi Mack is crazy. To think I used to be one of the kids reacting. And now i’m a part of the cast.
How is to be daughter of a very popular MLB star and 2 time MLB World Series champion?
I never thought of my dad as “David Justice” I always just think of him as dad. Because where we lived in San Diego no one really made a big deal about him. Until we went to New York and Atlanta. Then it kind of hit me. Everyone knew who he was and that was new to me.
Do you still watch baseball?
I don’t watch baseball.
How does a normal day in your life look like?
A normal day in my life consists of school work, exercise, dance classes, acting classes, and more acting.
What has been the hardest part of your career so far?
The hardest part of my career so far has been leaving school and my friends and moving to LA from my childhood home in San Diego. I knew it was best for me and had to be done but it still hurt to leave.
Best advice ever given?
The best advice i’ve ever been given was by my grandmother who told me, “The empowered woman is powerful beyond measure and beautiful beyond description.” And by my father who told me “Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world would do this, it would change the world” he was reciting William Faulkner.
What’s your favorite show on T.V. right now?
I honestly don’t have a favorite show but some that I’m watching right now are Grey’s Anatomy, Glee, The Vampire Diaries, The Haunting of Hill House, The Umbrella Academy, and more.

In my free time I draw, and read A LOT of books. I’m almost done with all the harry potter books, and then i’m most likely going to watch all the movies for the second time.

Your idea of a perfect Sunday?
My perfect Sunday would be spent outside with friends, maybe the beach, listening to music, reading books. Doing anything or absolutely nothing. I love to relax.
What’s next for Raquel Justice in 2019?
I have no idea what the future holds but I do know that i’m going to work better and harder, and this year is going to be awesome. There are of course some projects in the works, but we will see from those in the future.
Something people don’t know about you?
Something people don’t know about me is I’m a huge earth, nature and animal lover. If I wasn’t in this career I would be studying to be a wildlife photographer or a marine biologist. I am also a feminist. And on the side note I love to ride horses.
What is your own definition of happiness?
My definition of happiness isn’t about what I do, or where I am. It’s all inside. It’s when I feel content, or I know who I am and what i’m about. My idea of happiness is when I can finally say I know exactly what I stand for and everything seems to fall into place. So when things get rocky or stuff falls through, it doesn’t change me, or my morals. It’s more like when I know i’m secure in myself no matter what. If that made any sense.
How would you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is kind of all over the place. If I see something I like, i’ll get it. If its bedazzled or its a rock band t shirt, if it’s appealing to me, I wear it. It’s been described from others as different, goth (even though it’s nowhere close to goth), and funky. But honestly I wear what everyone does. HAHAH. I describe it as my mind. Whatever goes on up there shows up on my clothes. I like to say it’s different.
What is your favorite healthy food?
My favorite healthy foods consist of literally salads galore and green smoothies. I’m gluten free and dairy free, so my diet is very restricted, but up here in LA it’s been so easy to find substitutes.
And your favorite cheat food?
My favorite cheat food is ANY kind of dairy free ice cream or Boba with coconut milk. I’m a huge tropical smoothie girl so i’m obsessed with Piña coladas. Non alcoholic of course.
What music do you like?
For music I like anything under the sun. If it hits my ear right I like it, no matter what time it was released or what genre it is. I do pretty much draw the line at most of country songs. Not going to lie though, there are a few I can roll with.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
If I could meet someone living I would choose either Amandla Stenberg or Michelle Obama because they are two woman that I look up to with a great amount of respect, in this business and in my everyday life. They help me become a better woman and encourage me to work on my craft. And if I could meet someone dead I would probably choose MLK.
How important is Social Media for you?
Social Media is very important to me because with a growing fan base becomes a platform. A platform to reach out to people and touch on subjects that aren’t talked about as much as they should be. I feel it gives me a responsibility to speak for others and for myself. Also it’s just a whole lot of fun.
