Hi Alis, please tell us a little about you?
Ciao! I’m Alis Vibe, and I’ve been a singer for as long as I can remember. I firmly believe in the power of dreams and that’s what made me fly out here to Nashville from Milano, my hometown in Italy. My life foundation is made of love, music, yoga, nature and food. I love writing songs that will alleviate the soul, calm down the monkey mind, and that will make you feel good from the inside out!
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Eclectic, stylish, intentional
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
I didn’t choose, I was chosen! Being a singer and a songwriter is definitely the biggest gift Universe could offer me. That’s why I chose to honor it and embrace this music journey.
My influences include the legendary Freddie Mercury, the iconic visionary Lady Gaga, and other extraordinary and modern artists like Miley Cyrus (unique voice) and Dua Lipa (great production). But I have to say that behind my pop style there’s an important influence from folk, soul, and blues artists such as Amy Winehouse, Tracy Chapman, Joss Stone, Etta James, Janis Joplin.
Do you play any instrument?
Ukulele!
Do you ever get nervous?
Never. LOL. When it happens, it means that my mind is taking over and so I just remind myself that I’m not my thoughts, and then I breathe deeply.
Tell us about your new single “Surfing The Light?”
STL is my little child. I feel like I’m sharing something very intimate, very precious, very important that comes from my deepest heart. Surfing The Light is a song about love, but this time is a Universal love, cause that’s where we all come from. This track is dedicated to each one of us and it breaks the silence of unconsciousness and conditioning, venturing fearlessly into the depths of consciousness and heart, guiding us throughout a journey to explore a more subtle and less superficial world, a world that we can all find within ourselves and that we can share with others through the power of love.
What’s the story behind the song?
I remember I wrote this song around a year and a half ago, in a moment when I was feeling the necessity to say out loud ‘life is so precious, we really need to be good, universe is asking us to be better’ and it took me a while to put all these words together, cause I had to dive deep into my subtle layers, I had to explore a darker side, let go of what no longer was serving me as a person and as an artist, and then I had to transform my emotions into a massive message of love.
STL reflects the journey I personally went through especially in these last few years, a journey of self growth, self awareness, self confidence, self love and inner peace that helped healing the past, grounding me into the present moment with gratitude and unconditional love for each and every form of life.
How was working with renowned Italian producer Fausto Cogliati?
The magic Fausto Cogliati AKA Faustonik (ahaha). He’s my Italian hero. We went through this creative journey together and he’s the most precious person I’ve ever worked with in music back in Italy. He pushed me out of my comfort zone and we literally explored together the power of music. Everytime I’m in the studio with him something magical happens. We have a deep connection in terms of music-lyrics cause we perfectly complete each other: he always has the coolest ideas when it comes to sounds and I’m a badass songwriter (always humble).
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Co create art together with other people is priceless. It’s a powerful recipe of multiple creative potentials that generate magic moments. This is something incredibly amazing and rewarding for me. But also love seeing the reaction of the listeners: when they genuinely look like they got the message behind a song, to me it means they opened up their hearts.

What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
Hey little girl, don’t be insecure, it all works out even when you feel like everything’s falling apart. Just remember you have a precious gift, honor it, go for it, follow your dreams even when they’ll say ‘no’. Trust your intuition cause it’ll lead you to greatness!
How would your best friend describe you?
She’s the most determined person I’ve ever met in my life. She is really capable of doing everything she says she wants to do and turning her dreams into reality.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
‘Loving awareness’. These two words are the manifesto of my life: only through self awareness we are able to discover our limitless creative potential to accomplish great things. Awareness teaches us how to find love within ourselves first and then to share it with every other creature in the healthiest way.
What’s next for Alis Vibe 2023?
Magic is coming! This is just the beginning of something bigger for sure, and maaaaybe you’ll end up listening to a whole EP soon 😀

Fresh fish and veggies

How would you explain your fashion style?
Trend setter. I wear whatever I want according to how I feel, and I love expressing myself through my different outfits. For sure, never boring! More colors, less black.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Happiness is when self-awareness meets the peace of heart and mind. Happiness is made of simplicity.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Freddie Mercury. I would thank him for sharing his unique gift and talent with the entire world and for helping so many people to claim their freedom to live as they will and to express themselves fully. He inspired me and keeps inspiring me every single day to feel invincible in my authenticity.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
I’m about to go to my dream holiday: Bali!!! Nature, Yoga, Spirituality. But I actually have tons of dream holidays, like Bora Bora, Hawaii, Kenya, Egypt.
I would go with someone who I’m deeply connected to, otherwise I’ll always be my best trip fella!
Best advice ever given?
You come first. Never doubt your intuition and always set healthy boundaries if you wanna make it.
Do you support any charity?
Treedom, which is the first platform in the world that allows you to plant a tree from a distance and follow the story of the project online. It finances agroforestry projects throughout the territory to realize sustainable ecosystems and allow thousands of farmers to support the initial costs of planting new trees, ensuring food autonomy and income opportunities over time.
Biofarm, same philosophy, but you also receive the fruit from the farmer you support once a year.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
Touring everywhere!!! My house will be the stage and for sure I’ll have a couple of albums out and.. a Grammy (love manifesting) !! I feel home in Nashville and right now I’m meant to be here but of course I keep myself open and who knows in 5 years if this will still be my base or wherever else!

Karaoke: It’s Oh So Quiet by Björk. So much fun!!!!!
What do you think of Social Media?
Love and hate. They require a lot of energy, especially if you are an artist or someone who wants to share any kind of creative stuff. I think they help bring people together, getting a massive outcome.
