Hi Natalie, please tell us a little about you?
I grew up in Vancouver, Canada. I started dancing at the age of two, singing at five, and acting somehow worked its way in. “Lizzie McGuire” and “That’s So Raven” were my LIFE growing up. I was a theatre kid, jock, actress, musician, academic, and total goofball. I went to Loyola Marymount University in LA, became a sorority girl, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, and a Minor in Business. Now I am back home in Vancouver, and I am pursuing this acting thing full time!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Ambitious, passionate, and spontaneous.
Name one your strengths?
Putting a smile on someone’s face. I always love to make people laugh, and make their day just a little bit better.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My family. They have all taken turns reading lines with me, driving me to and from set, paying for the copious amount of acting classes, meeting with the agents, looking at way too many pictures of my face and giving me unwanted fashion tips. I am so grateful that my parents have been so accepting and supportive of my dream. I don’t know where I would be without their endless love and support.
How did you get started in the industry?
I started singing when I was five, and that turned into Musical Theatre. It definitely developed my itch for acting! I mostly played the big, outlandish, comedic characters throughout high-school, and I had so much fun doing it… but I always have enjoyed the more gritty, raw, and down to earth acting style. I wanted to be taken more seriously and I found that with film.
What is the best and worst part of being an actress?
One minute you feel like a star, the next minute you feel like you will never work again! Keeps you humble. In all honesty, I love getting to play different people and experience how they view the world.
Best advice ever given?
Be yourself, lead with you heart, and never be afraid to go for it.
What kind of roles do you like or would like to play and why?
As much as I want to do romantic comedies, I would love to do action/adventure! I have always admired strong female characters. Lara Croft. Katniss Everdeen. Rey. Wonder Woman. I love living in high stake situations; I find it to be the most exciting, and I love feeling like a badass!
Now tell us about joining the hit popular series 90210 revival, BH90210?
It was a total whirlwind! It literally happened overnight. I went in for the audition with the casting director, next thing I know, I heard I got it, that I had to be on set the NEXT morning, and that my hair was going to be red (I am a natural blonde)! And honestly I am loving the red hair! My first day on set, I felt like I was dreaming; It was weird to be surrounded by so many celebrities. Everyone is so great! It has been such an incredible experience.
And about your role as Anna?
My character is really fun to play. She is a confident, smart, young, spunky writer. Always up for the challenge, and is not afraid to say what is on her mind. She loves to challenge a certain someone… but you have to stay tuned to find out 😉
What other projects you have been part of?
I just finished the thriller, Wired Shut, directed by my favorite director, Alexander Sharp. (Yes, he also happens to be my brother). One location, 3 characters, and a whole lot of action! I played the role of Emmy: A smart, intriguing girl with a defiant edge to her. It was such an incredible experience to work with my brother, and is a project that is very close to my heart, and will do the festival circuit in 2020! My most known projects are Miracle Season and Hit The Road.
Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?
I love Jennifer Lawrence. I feel like we have very similar personalities, and I am drawn to a lot of the characters she has played. She is strong, comedic, and so incredibly present. Off-screen, she never fails to be her unapologetic self, and I really admire her for that.
Jake Gyllenhaal is definitely my favorite actor because of his range. All of his characters are so different, and complex and vulnerable. He has the ability to make people fall in love with his characters, even when they are terrifying.
What do you like to watch on Tv?
I love drama… for that reason, I love watching reality TV! I know that as an actor it is probably frowned upon, but I love the chaos of it all! Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise… you name it. 🙂
How do you stay fit?
Working out is definitely a huge part of my lifestyle. I grew up dancing, and playing sports… so I love any class/ team related workout. I recently got into Barre, and I love it!
What is your favorite healthy food?
Avocado toast? Is that too basic of an answer?
And your favorite cheat food?
I discovered Amy’s frozen Macaroni and Cheese in college, and my fridge will forever be stocked.
Where we can follow you?
Instagram is definitely where I stay most connected! Follow me @nsharpie.

Holiday Destination: Definitely Hawaii. I can’t believe I still have not been! I think I know deep down that if I go, I will never come back.
Song: Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd.
Sports Team: Canucks. A true loyal Vancouverite!
Movie: Grease! Major obsession. I think I watched it every weekend with my best friend as a kid.
